I intend to go to hooters today for the game since I have the terrible Cablevision and don't have NFLN, but at Hooters will the snow effect the reception?

I'm in a blizzard in VA right now and DirectTV is working just fine. Go Cowboys!

Do guests even watch television at Hooters?

I doubt that snow alone will interfere with the game's reception if the restaurant has Directv or Dish Network. If there is significant blockage of the signal, screen quality will degrade, but that shouldn't happen unless the weather is very severe or if the receiving dish has excessive snow buildup. If the service is carried over cable, there should not be any problems (unless the line itself breaks).

That's good news, I was worried about that tonight with the Nor'Easter coming in. Saying 14" expected this afternoon and tonight.

As long as they brush off their dish, they should be fine.

I'd be more concerned about the interuptions or distractions try to watch a game at Hooters.

You don't have the intense attention span that Romo 2 Austin has. Neither do I. Heck, I'm distracted just thinking about Hooters... er... distractions...

Cowboys > the ugly hooters girls my town has

Does anyone have an alternative via the internet for the game tonight?

Im in Anchorage, and we have had about 4-5 ft drop this week.

I got no problem w/ my D-TV. :D

Brush it off - snow won't bother it.

NFL.Com shows the game, but it is just a bunch of blowhards talking the whole game correct?

I'm sure that the snow won't dampen the reception that those luscious, nubile, scantily clad young nymphs will provide you. On the other hand, the TV might be another issue.;)

I live in UpState New York, and the only problem I have had with DirecTV is with heavy rain. If you can keep the dish clear of snow, it will increase your signal strength...but you should be OK!
Later...:saints: :saints: :saints:

It's snowing here and no problem as usual.

If your dish is aligned properly...you should have no problems Rain or Snow.
