Snowden suspended 3 games

His DUI occurred in Dec of 2024? But he was never suspended at the end of that season or while with the Raiders in 2025. But the league now decides to suspend him for his first 3 games with Dallas in 2026?

I know the NFL is sometimes slow, but that seems a tad ridiculous.

Standard for the League and NFLPA SOA (Substances of Abuse) Policy. Generally, it's a two game suspension. The facts of his case must have been tricky enough to warrant the 3 game suspension.

Anyone know the details of his arrest?

My bet is it was a two game ban before Goodell saw he signed with the Cowboys.

Suspending a player for 3 games is weird ..

It makes me wonder if the NFL did that to allow the appeal process to knock it down to 2 games which is probably what they wanted.

Rumor was he was with Zeke and there was some sort of domestic dispute.

Yeah the timing is shady. But ultimately this "story" is a nothing burger. Longshot to make the team. And if he did, unlikely to ever be active barring a slew of injuries. The Jones Boys can go raid another UFL roster for a similar level player.

Oh I agree there should be more punishment but 3 games? That's way too harsh unless there's more to this than we know.

He was not going to make the team anyway. Maybe as a vet player for the PS.
What they can do is activate him but do not intend to play him. Therefore the 3 game suspension would be served.
