Eagles CB Lito Sheppard has withrawn from the Pro Bowl. Per ESPN, his replacement is 49ers CB Walt Harris.

I havent watched a probowl since I was around 10 years old. The game sucks, the commentating sucks, the rules suck. Flat out terrible, meaningless game.

I think you would send that DE to the Pro Bowl if he was 6'8" 355 lbs and threw the tackle to the ground every time therefore forcing the offense to run the other way. Now thats a little exageratted but thats what Newman does. No offense that wants to succeed will throw at him more than 3 or 4 times per game because he will knock it down or make it impossible for the reciever to catch it. try watching film and understanding the game before you act like you know something.

I don't buy that. Deion had several seasons when he had only two interceptions but completely shut down his receivers -- was that like a defensive end with six sacks making it?

Besides, lots of cornerbacks have gone to the Pro Bowl with one interception, including Darrell Green, Aeneas Williams, Mel Renfro and Mike Haynes. Raymond Clayborn made his first Pro Bowl in a year when he didn't intercept a single pass.

Newman is a great corner. Hes not a playmaker yet. Playmakers go to the pro bowl. Not to mention Mike Williams burning him on the corner route to give Detroit the lead is still haunting me.

Looks like you overestimate your own IQ just like you over-rate T-New.

We have 24th ranked passing defense and you think we have a "Shut-down" corner? He deserved to go last year but not this year.

No one threw at Deion, but Deion had at least two INTs every season. I can image your "6'8" 355 lbs and threw the tackle to the ground every time" DE would at least have 6 sacks a season.
