True, true. The point is in championship games you come in expecting to have to score less than normal cause you just expect defenses should step up cause of the importance of the game. This doesn't always happen but it did for OU last night. Their defense played much better than they normally do and coupled with Tebow being a bit off early in the game with his decision making it allowed the game to stay competitive and close.
Until the 4th quarter, where champions rise to the occassion, and Florida did exactly that.
What sucks is Tebow left a lot of yards on the field.
OU was setting their defenders way off and bring up their safetys.
Their were countless times Tebow had receivers wide open down the middle of the field and he just didn't get them the ball.
That game could've gotten ugly had he connected.
Credit to OU's defense though. Im suprised they played so well. Its one of their top 3 defensive performances in the last 5 years.
In the end though OU's defense finally caved, and not to my suprise, OU couldn't score at will when they faced someone else who could actually play defense (like Texas)
