So about Dan Quinn

I don't think it's a coincidence that...

– Washington lost its last three games to Dallas, Pitt and Philly. They barely beat Daniel Jones.

or...

- The Dallas D looked much better with some starters back and Parsons working himself into game shape.

The most interesting thing to me was the stoutness of the o-line, pass pro and run blocking. I'm not as down on Guyton as a lot of people. We all knew when he was drafted that he was drafted for his tools and would need some time to develop.

And I’d still take Dan back in a heartbeat

I know what I’m getting ….but beating him and the commanders was GOLD!

Imagine this board if we were 7-4 playing the commanders backups and lost like that?

Lol, this forum would have a volcanic eruption level of meltdown lol.

I, for one, enjoyed seeing us beat Washington. Especially after the stunt that DQ pulled making some of our old players captains for this game.

Soo.....about Dan Quinn. He was decent with us, but, my goodness, he's still useless without the turnovers. Beating Washington never gets old.
I'd take Dan Quinn over the hill Zimmer any day. Zimmer is overrated. Jerry is a fool for replacing DQ with Zimmer.

Zimmer defenses are notoriously bad defending the rpo. Daniels may have walked in untouched if they go for 2. That said, let's give this team alot of credit for showing heart and fight. What about Josh Butler filling in for Diggs? Kid tackled, made a bunch of plays. It was refreshing seeing a CB tackle. He needs to be starting this week.

This game reminded me of the early 2000's Cowboys. Some of the worst teams Dallas ever put on the field, but somehow, someway, they always find a way to beat Washington.
Remember that stretch whenever we beat Washington like 18 or 19 times straight? That's like 9 years of beating them.

I liked Dan Quinn here...

He has Wash playing well for the most part...with alot of ex-Cowboys

It was a good divisional win.
Same. Unfortunately Quinn couldn't get it figured out against the Shanahan tree but other than that he was a good coach here. And a lot of those backup Cowboys players on Washington are starting now and performing well. And tbh I'd feel better with him here at DC than I do with Zimmer.

I liked quinn here but i do think that his D had to play with a lead or they were in trouble. Dont love zimmer but there have been alot of injuries and less talent. I didnt watch every play of the game yesterday but, it seemed like the WRs had a little more separation. My first thought was, are they playing better or is that quinn's D with the 34 yard cushions?

DQ has already overachieved in WA his first year imo.

That’s a good point . If they go 9-8 say , yes they are out of the Meadowlands NJ neighborhood where the GM & Coach have the shelf life of a car battery .

Finish above .500 and get Jayden Daniels some targets . Noah Brown is not a bad safety valve option but against Dallas he was # 2 . And he needs a TE , Ertz has mileage .
