Absolutely. That guy is a Cowboy Killer. Id love to have him on our side for a change.

Of course we'll get him and he'll lose all confidence and be out of the league a couple months after we sign him with our luck.

Akers has some sort of family health issue going on IIRC. Maybe with one of his kids. I was thinking this came up right around the playoffs.

On NFLN they said someone talked to Akers' agent and the agent said his client was taking it in stride.

Doesn't sound like someone that's necessarily retiring. Anything is possible, though.
