Nope. Just wondering what eagles fans would rather have.

I can't speak for every Eagles' fan, but this Eagle fan beieves that we need a T.O. caliber widereceiver to take Us to the top. While it's true that T.O. helped us get to the Superbowl, the Eagles seemed to be able to scratch their way to the top game without T.O. per se.

A top-notch wide receiver that's able to deliver a death blow to an opponent is crucial. Most Eagle fans have gotten over having T.O., yet they will never forget his dysfunctional Behavior while in San Francisco, in Philadelphia, and now in Dallas. He's an interesting phenomena because he's great on the field while he's getting touches. Yet he's another entity when he is on the sidelines and things aren't going his way.

T.O. is paid very well, but not commensurate with his effectiveness on the grid iron.

Bottom line, we're a better team without T.O.

TO? Sure there's less drama to deal with but no SB appearances either.

The eagles didnt make it to the superbowl that year because of TO.
I guess you TO supporters either cant remember or dont want to remember but he wasnt even playing when they made it to the superbowl.
Then the game he came back and played (the SB) they lost.
So i would think the assumption you should be making is that the eagles were a better "TEAM" without him, even that year.

And remind us how many playoff wins we have with him?

I'm not trying to knock your football team experience but i dont think you can win with a professional football organization where the players are beating each other up, sleeping with others girlfriends, and yelling at the coaches. Professional team sports are a Man's game. It sounded like you played for a junior high team.

Actually he was the best player on that team and played a major role in them making it to the superbowl. I think he played 17 or 18 games that season, so the "game" he played in wasn't just the superbowl.

You are also way off on the "Professional Football Organization" comment as well. Your living on fantasy island if you think that stuff doesn't happen all the time, and I mean ALL THE TIME. Do some research.

Also its kinda hard to play 8 seasons of junior high sports don't you think?.....I'm not trying to "knock" your response but I don't think you know as much as you think about this "Man's game" as you think you do.......

I support the COWBOYS. TO plays for my favorite team. Until he plays for someone else, I wish him the best. You won't find my name anywhere on this board getting into "TO arguments". So again do some research before you classify me into some category.......

Mcnabb accomplishes much with little but he needs a top notch receiver and another change of pace back to go all the way, as do most teams. The fact that he doesn't have those players is better for us...

Actually I saw Warner and Haley get into a "challenged debate" on the sidelines this weekend. Followed by Boldin and Warner. How did that turn out?

Agree 100 percent although he missed some BIG throws in the first half.

TO at 30 or TO at 35?
At 35, he isn't worth it.
At 30, he may be.

What's odd about the Original Question is that we have had Terrell Owens for 4 Seasons and we haven't won a Playoff Game.

The 2004 Eagles were good but the NFC was extremely crappy that year.

I don't think the Eagles miss Terrell Owens at all. I believe a great majority of them wanted to prove that they could win as the Eagles and not Terrell Owens and the Eagles.

I think its only been 3 seasons.
I don't think they have proven that.....
I know TO has issues. Every sports fan does. It all boils down to who can deal with and handle those issues.

You are funny... I remember you posting that you didnt need TO. Ok. So maybe you changed your mind.

I am not a McNabb fan. That is known. But I tell you what. He left it on the field the other day(no, not the puke). He actually almost got it done. I was impressed. He did miss a few throws but they dropped a few balls on him that go for 7 probably.

So with that said... if McNabb wasnt such a baby.. he could have talked to TO and maybe won that SB and one other one WITH TO.

But he didnt and now we have fans like you changing their opinion on TO and if he stayed with Eagles.

Good post.
He actually played 14 regular season games and they went 13-1.

isnt?

Still putting up career numbers. This year if Romo played all the game TO STILL puts up GREAT numbers.

Dont let facts get in the way.

I wouldn't be surprised to see T.J. Houshmanzada land there this off season.

Whose to say you would have won as many of the earlier games without TO? The whole we made it without TO is hogwash. The fact that Mcnabb is still playing with a bunch of scrubs is an indictment on the GM and on Andy Reid. I don't understand why fans blame Mcnabb, look what he has to work with and look at all he's accomplished.
