Has anyone heard any rumors or info from sources about the Cowboys looking at any kickers? There are some good kickers out there. Stover, Brown just to name two..

Buehler handling FG's is affecting his KO performance. We aren't getting those touchbacks. If you bring in a FG kicker, let Buehler handle KO's. It's totally worth the roster spot. That gives us better field position and more chance to score points. Win-win.

Jerry would have to admit this mistake and it won't happen. Forget it.

Gut Feelings are getting in the way and of course a bit of ego and that all important bottom of the roster issue too Jerry is the Man

:hammer: thats one of the problems with this team, no real leadership from a true head coach, because jerry jones is head coach behind the scenes so to speak.

Not yet. There's no panic just because fans are.

but, but, but beuhler has missed 2 critical field goals out of last 4 Hos?

and beuhler missed 4 field goals in practice yesterday, not good Hos.

Garrett Hartley in New Orleans is 3 of 5 on FG attempts.

Stephen Gostkowski in New England is 1 of 4 on FG attempts.

I'm curious, is Jerry's ego in the way in the Big Easy and Beantown too?

It never ceases to amaze me the depths people need to go to in order to panic.

Ryan Longwell is the only Kicker in the NFL to miss a PAT.

Damn Jerry's ego all to hell.

Come on Hos, you know both of those guys at least have skins on the wall. Hartley had missed a few last year in the playoffs but came up huge in the SB. Gostkowski was an allpro in 2008 and was solid in 2009 (and for several other seasons).

That's a bit different from an untested player who is really shaky

I want this to work out as I hate the idea that we will carry 2 kickers ... but I don't want to see you put your head in the sand again this season about our PK.

The only heads in the sand are the ones expecting a team to abandon ship this soon.

Why am I defending a Kicker? People are driving me nuts.

Not until we lose because Buhler miss yet another fg and we are 0-3 then you will see a new kicker or then again maybe not since the season is over any wyas

There is a 69.42% chance that Jerry has some sand in his ears at this very moment.

How exactly is signing a second kicker a sign of panic anyway?

The difference between NE and NO and us is that we already went through this last year with Folk, do we really need to go through it twice?

I'll explain this to you when you can explain to me why this means Jerry's ego is in the way.

im not expecting team to abandon ship, not just yet

why?

because who this team really

when their backs are to the wall, and jerry jones breathing down their neck too alittle, (something some of the coaches dont do) the cowboys always play well.

Example, last year, we had lost some games, and we were said to cant get it done, but what did we do against the saints last year, that turned our season around. We whupped up on the saints.

thats who this team is, when backs are to the wall, they play, but not with expectations. Like the eagles game at seasons end, and in playoffs, they did well, but when they went into the vikings game, was reported that some of the players got the big head, and alittle lazy again, not working on their keys, assignments, in practice etc..

that to me is who this team is, laid back in away like wade, (always said the team will take on the personality of the head coach. I think this team takes on personality of 2 head coaches for the cowboys. Laid back attitude of wade sometimes, and glitz and glammor of jerry jones.

We've gone to comparing our kicker who was not a good kicker even in college to a Super Bowl winning kicker whose been clutch in the playoffs in the NFL?

Really?

We've gone from 2 of 4 being a reason to make a move not happening because of an owner's ego?

Really?

Jerry's ego got in the way of him signing Longwell when he was a FA. :laugh2:
