Im a football offical myself, i did about 20 games last year at all different levels. I can clearly see how the linesman messed up the Witten call. Unless you been out on the field and tried to assimlate everything that just took place with the speed of the game you would never know how impossible it is. You have to go on instincts and that guy went flying that Witten hit and instinctly he threw the flag. Ok, mulligan there, been there done that.
However, there was no excuse for the Owens pass interference call. Also, at the end of the first half was the refrees fault. Beileve me he will get chewed out behind closed doors.
I was sooooooo mad during the game at the refs but until you do it you really have no idea. Throughout the season calls will even out. I play in a football league and in week 2 of our season this year we got alot of favorable calls. I told my team that one week there going to come back at us. Well, the next week down 25-18, under 2 minutes to go, a ref called a pentaly that could had been debatable and we lost our first down. We lost that week but we won the previous week. After the game win or lose you have to try to let it go.
