you know, now that I had time to think about it, this may be a blessing in disguise for Commanders fans. They can always say

"No matter how bad Jason campbell is, at least he's no Dick Shiner"

It's not that big a deal that the guy didn't make the team anyways, I heard it was stiff competitiion.

No such juvenile tactic is required for the name of one of their QBs. You see, in 1964 the Commanders drafted a QB named Dick Shiner.
