To be fair as well Allen didn’t play with a great team early in his career. He didn’t have Zeke as his RB his rookie year or Dez and Witten to throw too.

But from what many say around here... a great quarterback is supposed to elevate the talent around him. Allen is definitely a great quarterback, but the whole argument of who's around the quarterback is an excuse. Well that's what I was told around here.

What a pathetic attempt to lessen Allen and elevate Dak. Ask any GM in the league if they would prefer Allen or Dak and you will have egg on your face. Try comparing Dak to Kirk Cousins as that is the level Dak is on, not the level of Allen.

While I would hope everyone on this board is fully supporting Dak, I don't think anyone would pass up the opportunity to make that trade.

I fully support Dak, he has to be good for the Cowboys to win. But my confidence in that happening is not so great. Many on here would label that as being a hater, but that's just silly.

I need to see Dak pull off the kind of wins we need even when things aren't going well. If the defense gives up 40, I need to see him score 41. The great ones can do this. He needs to show me he can, especially come playoffs.
