so far on the RB situation, we have a group that's pushing Blue Hard. some even going as far as if he fails, its because OL, WR and TEs didn't do their job blocking for him.

then there is Mafa, who has deceptive speed (another way of saying he is not very fast) and that he is going to be a surprise in the NFL and make everyone regret passing up on him.

and somebody asking how good Javonte Williams is going to be because of this OL, because he has never had an OL like this,

then people are hyping Sanders, that he is going to have a revival and just take over this RB group and that he is a veteran and knows how to play and this OL is like the one he had in Philly and so on.

so I propose we move to a wishbone offense, perhaps put Sanders at QB, and then we have 4 RBs that are ready to take the league by storm. how can anyone stop us, specially with Booker on the OL, being the leader now and we are just able to bulldoze everyone over and control the clock for what? like 39, 40, 41 minutes. this also solves another problem, we don't have to worry about Dak and all Sanders has to do is be able to throw the ball to CD every so often to keep defenses honest....
nobody can stop us, we got power back, wiley back, speed back and one that's jack of all trades. put all of them in and defenses don't know what to do. only if the one WR and TE know how to block....that's the only issue we have to solve now

sarcasm fully intended.

I think there are question marks. Asking how good Williams can be is because 1) I don't know a lot about the player 2) his tape is pretty a average so that says we need other backs because he's not really a bell cow.

Mafah's speed is deceptive because you wouldn't expect a guy that big to move that fast, especially at the 2nd level.

Sanders was stuck in North Carolina, where it's understandable his production fell off. He could be better than Williams at some things.

I think the lineup does end up being Blue, Mafah and a vet. Maybe another guy. ST will be a factor.

I like it. And since we won't need Dak to play QB, let's put him as the wedge buster on kickoff.

Sanders was below average in Carolina. They had another back that averaged over 4 yards and got over a 1000 on the same team.

Can Mafa get to the second level. Most action is in the first 10 yards

I always liked Sanders at Philly. He was fast through the hole. Gainwell now is very similar to me as a change of pace backs. I can’t remember the last Carolina game I’ve watched besides ours the past two years so can’t really talk about his play now. But in Philly he was really good and I wanted him that offseason when he was a FA.

It is funny how well Miles did at Philly and then how bad he did with Carolina. Player or team? I am hoping for team.

I have a radical thought on the subject.

Why don't we give all the RB's an equal number of carries during the preseason games while trying to even out the game situations?

They could each take turns rotating through the starting squad, 2nd teams, etc.

Then the Cowboys could start the most productive RB while keeping the next two productive backs as backups or RB2 and RB3 in a rotation.

The number of assigned snaps in a gamelan could be based on which RBs looked the best during the week of practice.

I think it would be wise for the Cowboys to embrace this revolutionary concept.

I think so. He's quicker to the hole than some are trying to make it sound as well.
