So frustrating but expected

Yep. Shotty hasn't changed anything. This is still the same team that snatches defeat from victory. Just as in the past. They'll find a way to choke in the end. Dak gave it all he had,. Sad he just doesn't have receivers to help him out. Very sad...Way to go,CeeDee Ham.....
I thought he'd changed a lot. Our offense is much better, and so is clock management and we eliminated a lot of the penalties.

I thought we were winning until Sanders fumbled. And then I thought the weather delay helped our defense catch up, but then I guess the lightning hit CeeDee in the head during the break too.
cd had 13 targets ( too many) pickens had only 4 !
No eagles player had more than 7 targets. they spread it around.

I was wanting them to throw at pickens more, but they kept on with lamb.

the other difference was dak had 3 yds rushing, and hurts had 62 yds! He also had 2 scramble runs for td's.
Then the fumble was a killer.

Should have never been in that game but they had multiple chances to win it but gave it away. Which makes it even more aggravating.

Going in to score and take the lead and Sanders fumbles it.

Ball meet CeeDee lambs Hands x3 ....not counting that last one.

They were doing good running the ball but completely abandoned it in that last series when they needed to bleed the clock. Even a designed run play by Dak on one of those would have helped.

Tale of two halves....Offensive explosions and Defenses were bad. Second half was the opposite.
Nothing else you said matters. We were lucky we didnt lose by 40.

Confused as why we shouldn't have been in that game?

If you ask me, I'd say the better team lost.

Dallas offense was hurt by drops and a huge fumble. If those don't happen, Dallas wins by 10

Why shouldn’t we have been in that game? We outplayed Philadelphia three of the four quarters, and if not for drops/the fumble would have dominated the second half and won by 10 points.

We gave that one away
We seem to find ways to lose.
It's happened too consistently to be coincidence.

Better teams don't drop passes.
CD may not be as good as we think.

'No moral victories' for Brian Schottenheimer, Cowboys in Week 1 loss

"I'm proud of how they competed, but I don't find any moral victories when this team's built on a culture that's all about winning," Schottenheimer said. "You don't find moral victories in losing."

During the national anthem, Schottenheimer's emotions that had been built up nearly three decades all came pouring out.

He speaks to two people while the Star Spangled Banner is sung: God, and his father, legendary NFL head coach Marty Schottenheimer. While his conversation was with his dad in the heavens above, his thoughts were on his players standing beside him.
