In another forum I post in I've read Irvin is actually working behind the scenes trying to make a deal happen with TO to Dallas

It was all ESPN shtick..... As in "Michael you job is to support the angry brother and we have Tom Jackson and Steve Young to portray the old school guys." ..just shtick.

Michael did a fine job,as an ESPN personality, but nothing could be further than the team-player, Aikman-loving, smiling-but-agressive warrior that was Michael Irvin the player.

T.O. is the exact opposite.

He can't help it. He seems to forget Dexter Manley.

I feel sorry for that dude. I live in the suburbs outside of DC, and I heard a couple of months ago on the radio he was once again arrested for buying crack off of a street corner in DC from an undercover agent.

There is no way he was busted in DC buying Dope. DO you not think this would be a major story and the end of his Analyst career. This would have been all over every major and minor sports network.

And you know the chance to end his Hall of Fame chances once and for all would be more than the Boo-Birds could bare.

That makes complete sense. We all know Irvin is part of Jerry Jones' Mafia...in for a Super Bowl, in for life. And he's just been way to quiet on the matter these last couple of weeks.

No doubt in my mind though that what you heard is true. Irvin truly is a Cowboy-For-Life. Nearly a decade removed and he's still doing everything he can for us to win.

People always go on about the loyalty Parcells recieves from ex-players, well Jerry gets just as much, maybe even more, if you ask me. More then likely this is the very reason why both men are getting along so well, too, when most thought they wouldn't. Everybody underestimated the amount of respect and admiration Jerry Jones gets from those he has dealings with. Irvin is a prime example, Parcells 3 years into his regime, is also a prime example. The guy's "not" happy, but he is, and it's the happiest I've ever seen him before.

But anyway we talk about "Parcells-Type Players", Irvin would have been one with his work ethic and desire to win, no doubt about it. Parcells will respect Irvins opinnion on whether or not to sign TO.
