So, How Do You Prepare For Gameday?

I know some here are probably set up bigtime for football watching, but let me share what I do, and how I'm set up:

Living Room:

DirecTV NFL Ticket and "over the Air Antenna on the roof" so I can watch 3 games in Surround. Main game on my 36" Panasonic, and two smaller el-cheapo TV's beside the main to watch 2nd/3rd fav games

Family Room/Kitchen:

DirecTV and Antenna to watch another game of choice on another 36" tv, in Surround

Garage:

DirecTV/Antenna for 25" and another smaller TV to watch two separate games. Beerfridge/Kegerator, coolers full of beer acting as coffee tables, Cowboys flag and Beer Chick posters everywhere. This is where we send all the loudmouthed drunks, smokers, overtalkers, beer spillers, you get the idea.

Backyard:

Gas and Charcoal grill cooking some form of Protein, and the Smoker doing ribs and some sort of Bird.

Anyway, off to fire up the smoker. got a crowd coming, saying farewell to my house, since I'm moving down the Street to Carrollton.

Man... its 10:25am in NY and I am wired. I am nervous... just like before a title fight.

Good thing there are two games that will help kill the time before our game.

Watch ESPN.
Eat and drink as I watch football.

Sunday is my favorite day of the week for 5 months of the year.

apparently i will sleep a little later than normal...shower and then
get online and read every thing i can about this weeks game
while wishing the game was an afternoon game instead of tonight
and oh yeah....dig frantically thru my dresser trying to find that
pair of lucky underwear that i am 100% sure brought us victory
in that last Super Bowl a hundred years ago.

I wake up... have a quart of orange juice along w/ a pot of coffee, 3 or 4 sugar doughnuts.......grits.......and spend the rest of the day going to the bath room.

I don't have a ritual or anything. Usually I like to go out or cook some breakfast. I like La Madeleine on a sunday morning. Then I'll go to my dad's house and sit to watch the games for a while, maybe have some friends over.

Tonight I am going to go to BJ's Brewery to watch the game, get there early for good seats then chill until it's over.

Despite my user name, I don't drink too much on Sundays, because it will ruin my Monday. Maybe a cocktail or a couple of beers. I will probably have some of BJ's delicious microbrew tonight.
