So how much heat did you take for the loss?

So during the game, my brother-in-law that is a Cowboys hater was grilling me pretty bad...that is, until the score got out of hand and then he just felt sorry for me.

So when I got to work today (took Monday off) I arrived to find my desk and computer covered with newspapers about the Cowboys failure and memorabillia from the Eagles... It was pretty embarrassing having the entire office humiliate me. It wasn't any better last year either. My desk was coveredwith kleenex because of Owens crying. So what are you shameful stories?

Wasn't too bad for me, most of my close friends are Foreskin fans. Well, we see how they finished...

My coworkers didn't bother me. It would have kinda been like beating up the ******** kid. You could do it, but it's really not any fun.

No one has really hammered me. I will tell you guys one thing, the site of McFlabb dancing on the sidelines frosted my butt horribley. That image is what I will remember the most from the loss. I hope McFlabb gets pounded in the playoffs:mad:

i got calls yesterday saying i called the game perfectly. i told all my football watching friends that i thought the Cowboys didnt stand a chance in that game. then when everything feel perfectly for the eagles i had no doubt it would be a blowout.

this team is full of gutless, heartless over paid cry babies. i say trade Witten and Ware to a team that cares and call it a day

Or perhaps this team is exactly where they are supposed to be. 3 out of the last 4 years they have been 9-7. so i guess they are what they are, an average team

None really because I tend not to give others the business. When someone trys to get my goat I tell them we stunk and deserved to lose the way we played. Hard for them to come back on me after admiting what took place.

I had a couple people give me grief yesterday. then today i got a breakdown of all the reasons that the Cowboys are now a crappy team compared to the Texans. b/c the texans are the 1st team in history to start 0-4 and end up .500 or better, and they beat the Titans, and they beat the Bears.

i nearly stood up and beat him with my laptop, but then i would've been fired.

That would have been fun though, and you would have had a great story for years to come.

The only person I avoid after a loss is my Mother-in-law. She's a former Cowboy's fan, who seems to believe that the Cowboys symbol carries with it a curse that causes this team to dissappoint. "I told you! That's what the Cowboys have been doing for years. They build you up then tear you down. They choke when it matters most!" I can take logical **** talk; but, for whatever reason, my MIL superstitious know-it-all approach to football really gets to me. And don't get me wrong, outside of that, my MIL and I get along fine. But when she starts talking football, something she clearly knows little about and uses a recent loss as ammunition to make her beliefs correct, my blood boils and I just want to choke her!:choke:

There are so many reasons you can say the Cowboys sucked this year, none of which involve simply being in a Cowboy uniform...

When anyone at work, and there are steeler fans here, ask...What happened to your cowboys?

I would say...what are you talking about.

They would say...the got killed in that game.

I reply with...I don't know what you are talking about because the cowboys team did not play this past Sunday.

None yet, still on vacation. My best friend is a Saints fan and they didn't do much this year, Brees fell like 15 yards short of the record and they missed the playoffs.

One of my friends is a Panthers fan though, I'm sure he'll rib me a bit. The guy I sit next to at work is a Giants fan, that should be fun.

It'll be hard to get my blood going about that game though, I fully expected it so I haven't been talking trash or anything.

None. Most all of the people that know me know better than to go that route. It just wouldn't be good for their health.
