which the MRI will probably confirm today, who the hell do we get to play LB? Carter will have to play and ??????????? Bring in Lemon I guess from PS....Brooking and James were atrocious last night: felt sorry for those old farts.

It would likely be Brooking and James until Carter can get up to speed then probably Carter and James.

I hope that Lee isn't that badly hurt. We sure can't afford to lose his playmaking ability out there.

I really hope Lee won't miss rest of the season, Brookings is just too slow and its scary to think Brookings will be playing more than he has been this season.

That was hurtufl to watch that kid get injured on a freak play. What was more painful was those other 2 trying to cover down the field.

He said he hopes he can play next week. I wouldn't say the MRI is probably positive.

Either Carters or Brookings will have to fill in for Lees.

You can play with his injury. They would just cast it up.

Yeah, I think I would rather have Carter play. I know Brookings has the experience but Carter is young and much faste but lacks experience, it's a difficult choice. I think If Lee is out, it will be mixture of Carter and Brookings, with Brookings with more plays until Carter can gain confidence of coaches.

Rub some dirt on it and he'll be good to go sunday

I have more faith in Stevie Wonder hitting a bull in the butt with a bass fiddle than I do Keith Brooking making a play. Brooking should have been cut before the season started, his tank is empty folks and the fountain of youth is dry.

Craig

Morgan Burnett (Packer's starting safety) has been playing the last couple of weeks with a broken hand -- he has a huge club cast.

Worst case, I assume Lee could do the same.

You can probably say goodbye to 80% of the defensive playmaking if Lee is done.

He probably leads the team in picks which would be hard in a cast! :laugh2:

Isn't Steavie Wonder dead? That would make it even harder to accomplish that feat.

I think you've got your blind, black, piano-playing musicians mixed up. Ray Charles died in 2004, Stevie is very much alive and kicking. He even took in a few NBA Playoff games last year. :laugh2:

Correct sir! Didn't mean to kick dirt on him before his time!
Thank goodness the game was over at halftime so I could go to bed and stop drinking or I would be even worse today on my accuracy!

I doubt he has a dislocated wrist but its possible. The most likely concern is ligamentous and/or cartilaginous damage requiring surgery. There could even be a fracture. Surgery will likely put him out for the year although its possible he could return weeks from now. It all depends on what's injured.

...but the initial diagnosis last night per the medical staff was a dislocation....which means ligament damage, which very well could put him out for a prolonged period. Sucks for sure, but it was a freak thing.

I still think he plays. He will have a cast on it and probably get a pain injection before the game. He just won't be as effective catching the ball with it, but he will still be better than anything Brooking can do.
