So if we do finish 10-6 this year...

...all of you out there wanting Parcells gone will you be back on his bandwagon again. Probaly. I predicted this team would go 10-6 and it looks like there is a real good chance this will come true.

I can see it now. We finish 10-6 and those of you wanting BP gone will be saying how great he is.

For me I have seen Parcells make way to many good changes for this team to want him gone after a crappy game like today. I do not care who we have at coach or QB. With the OL we have we can barely even get the ball snapped right.

Some of you complain about our conservative offense. But how can we do more with the NFLs biggest joke for a OL.

Parcells does need to make some changes. We need a totally new OL except for Flozelle Adams.

I know some of you will get tired of hearing it again but Parcells needs to dump Mike Zimmer for a DC who is really good with the 3-4 and plays attack style defense and hides his blitzes and fakes his blitz really good. Someone who is creative. None of that describes Mike Zimmer. Our great talent on Defense is just gonna waste away with that moron at DC.

I believe in Parcells. I am not gonna give up on the man after it is REAL OBVIOUS this year this team is getting better.

We get a better OL next year and you will see a more open offense next year. We get a REAL DC next year and we will have the most feared Defense in the NFL.

Parcells cant fix everything all at once. Give the man next year to fix our OL and get some better assistent coaches.

Have some faith in Parcells. See what he can do this coming off season and draft. If this team shows no better next year then maybe it is time for him to leave. But I will at least give the man next year to make some more changes and I believe he will do just that.

I will say it again. With the OL we have no coach or QB in the NFL could do better. Some of the blame does go on BP for our OL but then he can only fix so many things each year. Give him next year to fix the OL and I am positive it will get fixed.

Signing off as someone who still has faith in Parcells.

I don't care how we end up. I would still have same questions about Parcells.

Are you serious? The Panthers d-line is 10 times better than the skins and the skins managed 7 sacks! The Panthers d-line will KILL Bledsoe. 9-7 will NOT get us to the playoffs. A VERY disappointing season. I hate to say it but...TO come home!

Last year was a mistake because we over-performed in 2003. Now one year into a complete rebuilding job it is hard to imagine some people wanting to throw BP under the bus. We are much better today than we were one year ago. You can not rebuild an entire team in one off season. If we improve the win total next year as much as we are this year BP will be touted as a genius.

I don't really want to see Parcells go. I, like the poster who posed this question earlier, am very afraid of who his replacement will be.

I'm envisioning Campo II (ie. Payton, Zimmer, etc) when Parcells steps down/fired.

With that said, I wish he'd evaluate his own coaching and make necessary changes. His seeming stubborness is what annoys me.

Good stuff BDC. I really hope BP stays. The changes he will make this off season I think will have us be a 12-4 team or better next year.

Parcells gets me mad sometimes but I still believe in him.

I hope he finally sees that as long as Zimmer is running the defense that the D will never be feared or great. And that he needs a REAL DC in here to run it.

I would like to get T.O. but I would much rather have a seriously improved OL and a real DC next year instead.

If Parcells was "fooled" by the '03 team do you really believe he is still competent enough to completely rebuild this team into a SB contender?
I like what he has done at rebuilding several positions (RBs, DBs, some of the LBs, most of the DL) but the offensive line is as bad or worse than when he got here.
Flozell Adams is good but losing him alone can't account for the whole line being horrific.

I am not so sure about the DL. The potential for our DL looks like it could possibly have some potential. However the DL is a long ways a away from being good.

Glover does not fit the 3-4. Ferguson has not done a darn thing. Ellis is rumored to be gone next year. Canty looks promising. Spears is only a rookie but has not impressed whatsoever.

This DL is serious question marks. I have not even mentioned the lack of pass rush out of the DL.

I have a feeling it is just a feeling .... things might turn ugly at the end of the season and Bill Percells leave to Detroit or retire for health reason or irreconcilable differences

Drafting Rogers and Peterman is prove he has tried to rebuild the O-line. Damn shame it just didn't work out with those 2. Hopefully Peterman will step up next year.

LOL. Nice line. We could have "potential." Just kidding.

I still have some faith in Parcells, but what frustrates me to no end was the fact on how we lost. Not just that we lost. We were totally manhandled, unprepared and didn't look like we wanted to win this game. We've been unprepared, and we've been manhandled, but we've never lost by this much. We've always been in games with a chance to win at the end.

I just don't know what team will show up anymore, and that consistency is what drives me nuts. Also, it looks like we're regressing instead of getting better.

I remember Jimmy's old teams, and when we were rebuilding we may have lost some games, sometimes by a lot, but we always felt like we were getting better. I just feel like we're getting worse, and I can't blame anyone except the head honcho anymore.

Yeah, that was quite a line! :D Too bad it is true though.: Possibly some potential is all we got.
