5 of the NFC Playoff teams from last year failed to make the playoffs this year. Dallas, Washington, Tampa, Seattle & Green Bay made way for Carolina, ATL, Arizona, Minn. & Philly.
Totally opposite in the AFC with only New England and Jacksonville failing to repeat...
Seattle & Green Bay dropped harder and faster than Dallas, but more interesting is the fact three rookie head coaches (Miami, Baltimore, & ATL) lifted pretty weak '07 teams to pretty amazing turnarounds. If anyone had told me the 'phins would win the AFC East, I would have LOL! And, ATL with a rookie QB rose from the Vick debacle to be the 5 seed...
