To start complaining. I was watching NFL Network and he was in an interview (someone please find it!, thanks) and he was saying there have been several times he has been open but due to offensive line breakdown or something to do with Palmer, he did not get the ball. But he prefaced that with saying he is not griping or making excuses and at the end he said the main thing is they are winning. :lmao:

You can't preface something saying you are not griping or making excuses and then start doing it.

Roy Williams had as many yards against Houston as TO does all season.

I won't even defend TO, but I'm curious. Have you seen the last two Bengals games? And what do you think about Carson Palmers current quarterback play? Id love to hear the answers.

Carson Palmer has been very mediocre since his knee injury a few years back. I remember a time when you were an idiot for not putting him in your top 5, but I'm not even sure I'd put him in the top half of QBs in the league now.

They called Romo and Witten to figure out how to do it correctly. :laugh2:

Miles Austin - 22 rec 308 yards 1td

Roy Williams - 12 rec 191 yards 2tds

Dez Bryant - 14 rec 158 yards 1td

compared

Terrell Owens - 14 rec 152 yards 0tds

We have 3 wide receivers better than Owens.

I thought that is was going to be impossible to stop the Bengals O with T.O. and Chad at least according to some people. :laugh2:

Jordan Shipley - 13 rec, 161 yards, 0 tds. Equal production, at a much cheaper price.

Carson Palmer is stinking it up big time...TO should be *****ing about his mediocre play! If I didn't know any better I'd think Carson and his lil bro changed jersey numbers with some of those terrible passes I've seen from him this season!

funny how good QBs become mediocre as soon as they start throwing to TO

you know

Young
Garcia
McNabb
Romo
Palmer

weird huh?

Uh, 3 of the first 4 had their best years with T.O. (I think 2007 was better for Romo than 2009 - he would have gone over 40 TDs if TO was healthy and the Skins game mattered), and the other was very productive with him as well. Palmer has been horrible.

How predictable.

Criticism of Owens always leads to somebody trying to put the blame elsewhere.

For the T-Opologists...It's never Owen's fault. Ever.

All three of the quarterbacks lost respect in their respective locker-rooms and with the fan base because of T.O. He undermines every time.

Don't try to re-write history about it.

I'm not, you may be though. I'm refuting the BS that was said in the post I responded to. There was nothing about what respect those players did or did not have in the locker room. Nobody said those QBs were mediocre when T.O. arrived. In fact, nobody said a damn thing about Young.

You can't judge a WRs performance, good or bad, when the quarterback is throwing balls as far off target as Palmer has, unless you look at the coach's film. And from what little film I have seen both T.O. and Ocho have been playing well, but the QB has not. Palmer has been terrible this year, no matter who he's throwing to.

Has anyone heard from Fitzgerald?? He must suck. Obviously it can't be because his quarterback is awful.

There is a huge difference between 27 year old Fitzgerald and 36 year old T.O.
