I'm not, you may be though. I'm refuting the BS that was said in the post I responded to. There was nothing about what respect those players did or did not have in the locker room. Nobody said those QBs were mediocre when T.O. arrived. In fact, nobody said a damn thing about Young.

You can't judge a WRs performance, good or bad, when the quarterback is throwing balls as far off target as Palmer has, unless you look at the coach's film. And from what little film I have seen both T.O. and Ocho have been playing well, but the QB has not. Palmer has been terrible this year, no matter who he's throwing to.

Has anyone heard from Fitzgerald?? He must suck. Obviously it can't be because his quarterback is awful.

The difference between T.O. and Fitzgerald is that T.O. is done, He is left over garbage. So yeah, TO sucks...:laugh1:

Cincinnati is 2-1. Hardly a horrible team. Last year they were the AFC North Division champions. Carson Palmer has not held anyone back.

Owens has no excuses for poor performance, but he naturally will make them because he says he is in the best shape he has ever been. Which is a colossal pile of dung.

TO is washed up. A has been, which is better than a never was, but it isn't good enough. He's a waste of a roster spot.

It was proven here last year when Miles Austin made him beyond expendable.

I'm no TO fan (now that he's not in Dallas) but I know from what I've saw from Cincy so far this season is Palmer has been mediocre at best.

69/122 (56.6%) 707yds 3TDs 3INTs... not exactly Peyton, Drew, or Tony-like numbers!!!

LOL.

I actually thought you were doing pretty well until this post.

This post makes you, and your argument, look childish and silly.

Hos has probably forgotten more about football than you've ever bothered to learn. Making that statement made you seem really petty.

Until then I thought you were making a solid set of points though. I do agree that Carson has been average, at best. So part of TO's down numbers is probably that. Part of it is also probably that the Bengals have Johnson and Shipley to throw to as well. Part of it's probably that Benson is there to run the ball.

But rather people like TO or not, and personally I don't have an issue with him and found him to be a very exciting player to watch while in Dallas and earlier in his career elsewhere, part of the decline in his numbers is also the very simple fact that TO is older and not quite the player he once was.

Anyone who would try to argue that being 36 doesn't slow him down is crazy.

We have 3 wide receivers better than Owens.

Dont take this as I wish he was here still, but we also have a QB that is 10 times better than Palmer. Palmer Missed Chad and TO for certain TDs a few weeks ago.

Just because TO is expendable from dallas, does not mean Palmer has not been terrible. I have seen him throw interceptions on to for certain TDs. TO is not what he once was, but he is not as bad as some are making him.

With that said, Austin-better Dez-Better, but TO with romo> Roy with romo, and im a roy defender.

You have been making excuses for him since we cut him .....

You and stilltheguru.

Its always the QB's fault ..... its always someone other than Owens.

I am sorry he has a habit of disappointing anyone who trusts him.

If the idiot could keep his mouth shut ..... he would be here right now sharing time with Dez and Miles ...... he could not, so he is not.

His fault.

I've forgotten more about football than you will ever know and I have not forgotten much.

The Bengals game vs. the Patriots was televised here and I did watch it.

In your delusions it is always the QBs fault. I don't give two hoots in hell for your evaluations of Carson Palmer. I knew as soon as Owens signed there that you would say Palmer wasn't good enough. We all did.

How could you watch the Bengals/NE game and NOT think Palmer held that team back? He was atrocious during that first half, and very responsible for them falling so far behind. You've been VERY wrong in this thread.

And you guys better let Larry F. know that he's only 27 and not done like T.O. because his stats, and his teams play sure don't agree. And I guess we may as well cut Romo and start McGee since he's cheaper, and I'm sure Miles, Dez, and Roy will be just as successful since QBs don't matter. Indy should do the same thing too.

Holy crap. He had 345 yards passing and 2 TDs. Cincy had 26 1st downs.

If that's a sorry game then what is a great game?

He had a lot of garbage yards after they were blown out, something he was a major cause of.

The Bengals had about 320 yards in the final 30:01 of the game, after it was too late.

Did you watch the game against Carolina and think he was great in that one too? How about against Baltimore? Those 46% and 51% completion percentage games really go along way to helping out the team.

Did I, or did I not say the game against the Patriots was televised here? I am pretty sure I made that clear.

Eat some cheese.
