Come on who's got the good pics?

In all fairness, prompts me to comment that Jane Slater is one of the more attractive sideline reporters out there, imo, and yet, she's a damn serious football person in her own right, attractive or not.

Looks can be a detriment, unfortunately, and the woman isn't to blame that guys presume attractiveness is reason to consider her to be only in front of the camera as eye candy. Won't deny that those kinds of hires have been made by media outlets, of course. But females in that line of work, as a rule, deserve for male fans to be more discerning, imo, and not presume the worst until words and actions indicate that.

Asserted herself fairly well on the Girls Talk podcast last year, imo. She wasn't Jane Slater, who surely we all agree is about as good as any testosterone-gorged person who regularly is sought for football reporting and opinions, but Jane probably was something like Hailey at Hailey's age (25?). Is she learning? A lot of 25 year olds are learning. But unlike a lot of 25 year-olds, of either sex, she asks decent questions and has a good head on her shoulders. And unlike a lot of fans, period, she conveys a sense of humility that is admirable.


Shameful. (See last sentence above.) That's more a reflection on the commenter than the commentee, if you don't mind me saying so, or even if you do.

I don't think we are taking about the same girl.
