Way too many F level performances to win a game like this:

1. Kickoff coverage was awful
2. Thomas was Chaz green bad
3. No pressure from d-line
4. Pickens was in a funk and didn’t try
5. Three bad turnovers - two at critical times. doesn’t really matter if it was dak or rcvrs fault on the ints, it just can’t happen.
6. Coaching staff got schooled especially Fus was totally out schemed

Secondary was punked too but i believe the lack of pressure on Golf was the way bigger issue.

Concerned we have to find a top tier edge in off season - EZ is a good overall player but isn’t going to be the war daddy off the edge.

Anyway, with all those F performances, we were very lucky to be as close as we were.

The thing that pissed me off the most last night was our ST's coverage allowing the Lions to get to midfield most times after a kickoff!!! What the heck?? And God forbid if the Cowboys had a decent run back, it wouldn't count because of...you know...a stinking penalty!! Really sick and tired of having a penalty on almost every single kick/punt return!!! Can something be done about this? It's annoying as hell!! :banghead:

Steele was a hot mess too.

I was disappointed Eberflus did not call more blitzes to try to get pressure on Goff. He called a few CB blitzes early but they were ineffective. But I agree. The Cowboys game plan should have been to put as much pressure on Goff as they could early. Once he gets happy feet their offense collapses.

But I am very concerned about the CBs too. Maybe it's too soon but I think Revel is terrible. He looked so stiff last night it was comical. That one play where he tried to turn and fell like a corpse was embarrassing. But several times I noticed he struggled to turn his hip with the receiver. Maybe it's his knee brace or something but he looks like his legs are made of wood with no hinges!

Exactly

Our kickoff coverage cost us this game. It’s been a problem all season. The Cowboys are keeping a coverage specialist on the roster and he has done nothing all season.

Once again, how are those 2 interceptions on Dak or any other QB? Passes were placed right on his receivers chests!!!

Although the final stats don’t show it, we had close to 100 yards in penalties in ONE SINGLE drive.
Right before half, Turpin takes it past the 50 only to get called back to the 20. -30
Then the negated PI on Pickens would’ve been another 40 yards putting first and goal at the five.
-40
Then the 15 yard facemask on GP. -15
= -85 yards
Easy TD drive if no penalties, 3 point game at half.

Didn’t say they were on dak .. both should have been caught
Doesn’t matter tho
So why include our QB on the failures of his WRs? It's because you do want to blame him. Admit it.

Or you want to cater to the haters? Don't let them pressure you. I don't. They will never relent. Neither should you to them. Stick to the truth.
