Well, I surely hope that they're working on stunts this week. Howard and Walker were killing Kosier and Adams. It's like our guys didn't recognize what they were doing as the LG and LT both went after the same guy a couple times. May have to do with them practicing against a 3 man line instead of four and the fact that I don't recall ever seeing our MLB's stunt.
Also looking at the play where Lito Sheppard had an easy INT opportunity (the one he dropped) where Drew's arm got hit the second time. With the angle shown on the replay, he was going after Glenn on the post. He had good protection. All he had to do was step up in the pocket and he would've had either an easy throw to Glenn on the post or Witten coming across the middle. Needless to say, he gets happy feet when pressured and rushes throws when he's not even pressured. Doesn't step up attempts the throw, arm hit the 2nd time, near INT #2. You'd think a 14-year vet would recognize when he can step up in the pocket.
More line talk...Do good lines get the benefit of the doubt? I swear the Eagle line was holding our defensive lineman with no calls. Now maybe I think I know what constitutes a hold, maybe I don't. Maybe they were getting the benefit of a doubt. I do find it hard to believe not one holding call on them the whole game, at least I can't remember.
