So the Rams wanted Martin too?

Coach Jeff Fisher confirmed the Rams tried trading back into the first round for G/T Zack Martin, who went to the Cowboys at No. 16 overall.

The Rams were talking with the Ravens, who held the 17th overall pick. "It would have been pricey but worth it," said Fisher. St. Louis is dead set on shoring up its offensive line. They have zero depth up front and could still stand to upgrade at center and right tackle. The Rams hold the Nos. 44 and 75 picks on Friday.

I personally would have lost it if that happened. I knew trading with the Rams would be the key to getting Donald and they ended up taking him. Now reports say they were trying to trade back into the 1st round and get Martin.
Oh boy...

So I guess Washington Screwed us even without being in the first. They're the gift that keeps on giving. Hope RG3-13 is a huge bust and we can all laugh at their expense after getting the shaft on Donald.

Why would they want him? He's terrible. He has T-Rex arms.

I've read other reports this morning that we called the Rams to trade up to 13 but the Rams really wanted Donald.

You think they were offering their 2nd and next years first?

Or maybe their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th/// that isn't close to enough

I wanted Donald, Barr and Martin in that order. We got our guy, who cares who else wanted him. Would have preferred Donald, but I am happy with the Irish guard protecting Romo. Lets go play some football...

It doesn't surprise me. Martin is a really good talent and Fisher usually can spot that.

I'm okay with trading Martin for Quinn or Brockers. Straight up. Sounds fair to me.
