I guess just another case where when a team has success it's on the players and when they dont it's on the coaches. Unless you're Sean Payton of course.

But otherwise a guy like Henning within the last 8 years was the OC for Jets when Vinnie had the best year of his life and they went to the AFC Championship game, OC's for the Panthers last year when they got to the NFC Championship game, and OC's for them 3 years ago when they got to the SB.

Shocking how those teams were able to even make it *that* far with him on the staff at all. Especially with QB's basically as good as Manning and Brady to work with.

Hmm, I have conflicting feelings about this guy.

On one hand, I'd give him a shot, pretty much because Bill trusts him (and hopefully he'd spend more time fixing this defense.

On the other hand, he does seem like an ultra-conservative coach who really wouldn't do well here.
