Are they screens? Right now there putting writing over the one facing Wal-mart and the other one has the a Superbowl trophy on it. What was the screens for? Or are they not screens?

They were originally supposed to be screens. The one facing the wal-mart was to be one. Then supposedly they thought it would be to big of a distraction to the traffice on the road, as it is considered a main road.

So they decided to put a scren on the other side. However, it wasn't ever put it, or finished. Rather cost or other reasons, who really knows. I thought certainly they would have one or both operating for the Supr Bowl.

Well, if what you are saying is true I hope this is the last time we see them. They just look useless up there. :laugh2:Kind of an eyesore ya know.

Yea, I remember seeing the designs and thinking how cool that would be. Once it got built I realized two things. One, the party areas at each end zone make way more sense. and two, even if those screens ever were operable (it doesn't appear that they are) as mentioned above one faces a road, and the other faces a parking lot that is comparably much smaller than most of them. there really wouldn't even be much of a point.

Going along with things in the original plans.....whatever happened to the Dallas Cowboys museum that was supposed to be constructed onsite, and what about the shopping areas/mall they talked about building?
