So tired of Dez's injuries

Not saying it's his fault, or that he's not tough, but the best ability is availability. And looks like he'll sit again. Guaranteeing he misses at least a quarter of this season. After all the games missed last year. We spent too much money on a guy who can't stay healthy and our coaches can't consistently figure out a way to get the ball. Frustrating.

With the way he plays he's going to have injuries. That's just what you get with him. The most frustrating part is him not getting the ball when he's healthy.

**** happens. Not like it's an injury that can be avoided via stretching/staying in shape.

Dez played in 75 out of 80 possible games before he signed his second contract. This ain't Miles I keep pulling my hamstring Austin we are talking about.

Outside of last year, missing Romo for 3/4ths of the season, and the first game of the 2016 season, when have we struggled to get Dez the ball?

2012: 92 catches
2013: 93 catches
2014: 88 catches.

Seems like he got the ball plenty of times when we had a good Quarterback throwing him the ball. (2015 reference only)

For someone who loves the game as intensely as he does, I don't understand how he can't find some way to cope with the pain and just play through it. Will they not give him something adequate for the pain? I wouldn't normally endorse strong painkillers, but if it means he'll play (and there's no greater-than-normal risk of re-injury)......

Dez should have had 120 catches a season. I can't remember specific examples off the top of my head but I know there were games he was shut out in quarters and halves of games even during those high volume seasons.

Like every other top WR in the league.

Another crapfest Dez thread complaining about his 2 significant injuries that he could not avoid.

Broken Foot and a Fracture in his knee.

Come on guys really? Give it a rest. I'm sure most on this board would cry if they got a paper cut. Quit talking about him playing through pain.
