So we're just supposed to forget the whole Mingo for a 4th rounder?

20 percent of 4th round picks become starters or key contributors to nfl teams for four seasons.

I don’t think the trade was a good one but there are a lot worse ones
And there is a decent chance that Mingo is the 3rd receiver on this team which would be excellent value for a 4th round pick.

Suck Jerry has wasted the last 2 4th rounders. But that's down the road now. Hopefully we can sign. Pickens long term and he plays great which would lessen the draft picks we lost to get him. They can't or don't re-sign him? It'll be one of the worst trades ever.

You must be a fool....you're still here supporting HIS team. Don't be so hard on yourself, you're gonna bust a vein....so much hate is bad for anyone.
I'm hoping the team can overcome a choker QB...there's a .001% chance. So the strawman position that I am as blindly loyal as you are is a slippery, yet unclever way of surrendering.

I repeat: Any and all hope in a team led by a choker QB is pointless. You're just kinda policing the fandom whilst being the lead cheerleader for almost every single offseason move...and all things Dak related.

No worries bro.
Just the positivity cartel.
Like bouncers at the night club, they think your i.d. can be denied access based on their personal views of censorship.
Even a mod is a member too.

But last I checked and fought for, you can exercise that freedom of speech anyhow you see fit.
God Bless America.
Requiring conformity is evidence of the weakness of one's argument. Why would you not rather the argument - if it's as ironclad strong as a person might believe - be battle-tested? So, I'm skeptical of Pickens because of the pressure on him to perform WITH a choker QB who is playing with a hobbled wheel. Does this mean I can't watch the games now? It's unreal.

LOL @ the positivity cartel. Good one.

I don't have any expectations. I just enjoy the game...it's great if we win, but loses in games that i don't coach, don't bother me anymore. I coached in about 250 football games, about 220 as the HC. Those bothered me, these are just for fun

OK, so do you think Dak's hamstring - which tore off the bone - is fully healed and he won't be limited on game 1?

I think it be healed in time, but I think his biggest issue with it, will be the mental block, in dealing with it. Especially, if they baby him during preseason and don't get him a decent amount of reps.

Ok, we agree here too. So herein lies my issue: Dak is a rhythm, streaky thrower of the football. Now once he's in rhythm and feeling good about himself, he can be "near-MVP" Dak. However, we all heard him say after the 1-2 start which turned into the 1-4 start with Dak last year "...my best football is yet to come...". And it never came...because he was still "rusty".

Now, has he come out hot before? Yes, at Tampa in the opener one year and I believe he did his contract years. But most times, Dak needs a few games to get there. When you add injury and a year of sitting, I'm not hopeful he'll figure it out. Meanwhile, Pickens...he might be ready to explode if we start off 1-4 like last year and Dak is tossing the ball to the other team.

Dak is easily the best qb that he has ever played with.

So called fans like you are comical. You have no idea how this trade will work out....just keep yapping and throwing crap against the wall to watch it ooze down. So freaking miserable and then dragging others with you. Can someone post a pee wee Herman Pic? Oh, wait...that one's taken.
Now cue the cult, coming to the rescue.
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
Hate to tell you he likely will be cut

I still don’t see how this is a big deal

If any other team traded a 4th for Mingo no one would bat an eye

Possible, some would say probable. I say, with an improved OL, RBs and WRs groups, there will not be any excuses. Dak can be very good, he needs a coach in his ear throughout the game. Can't leave him alone with that deer in the headlights look that he gets. They leave him alone too much. QB coach needs to be on the sideline and not the box

Everything heals in time but man that was a nasty injury, and great point on the mental aspect.

Even though DT is highly suspect, the biggest question for me on this team is about Prescotts health…..I mean, as far as players go that is.

Had a QB suffer an avulsion in his ankle. He missed one game. Had surgery at the end if the surgery and didn't miss spring ball
