I think they do both. Pick up a vet and draft a young QB. There are still some vet QBs out there. Maybe look at Jameis Winston or Russell Wilson.

We'll be fine with Will Grier getting the QB2 job. It's not like we are doing anything in 2025. Dak will get his annual season ending injury and the race to the playoffs will be over for the Cowboys. We need a viable QB1 and HC whose initials aren't BS.

The Cowboys will go ultra cheap and likely just stick with Grier.

Stephen said they wanted to draft a QB so that is something to watch for draft weekend.

There won't be any trades for a QB or another FA signing unless it is to replace Grier.

I think we will pick up a QB in the draft to fill that hole, the likes of a Kevin Jennings maybe, I can see getting a better prospect if one of the top five are still there in the 3rd though.​

Grier knows the Cowboys' system by now and might not be as bad as we may think. In the meantime, expect one to be drafted or to be a Will Grier backup replacement from another team. Stephen has already indicated that he wants to draft a QB. That might be fairly interesting, if it happens.
