Atlanta?

After last week's meltdown, I hope so . . . . but, I don't think we've been successful playing in Atlanta since around 1995. But just for confidence-sake, we really could use a win here.

I just don't know which defense is going to show up vs. Atlanta. We SHOULD be able to contain the run on defense (esp. with Dunn injured), and as long as we cover Crumpler, I don't think Vick is especially dangerous with his arm.

(One thing may be for certain, if the defense melts down two consecutive games in a row, I think Zimmer's chances for a head coaching gig in the NFL are reduced considerably in 2007.)

I'll be a homer, and go with a Cowboys win . . . .

Let's say 24 - 20 Cowboys.

And by the way, Zimmer actually interviewed for HC jobs since becoming our DC (before I get flamed) . . . . Rams I think . . . .

Yes, he interviewed for Rams job last year but from what was reported in the media his interview was not impressive enough to get the job.

My roommate last year and close friend is an Atlanta fan.

If Romo plays like he did the last few weeks than I think we are going to get killed tomorrow night, if he reverts back to his earlier form we should pull it out though.

I hope on offense we try to establish some sort of running game to take pressure of Romo. Esp. with Abraham on the field for Atlanta now.

Also, I'd love to see 1-2 "trick" plays. How about a reverse or a flea flicker?

28-14 Cowboys is my prediction. I expect a tough first half, as we always seem to take a while to get going, followed by a 2nd half of good production.

It is only natural to be a little worried after that woopin' the Saints laid on us. But like BP said, that is not an indication of what this team is. And I don't think the players believe it is either. This team is focused, and we are a better team than Atlanta. I expect our guys to play like it too.

Both Dunn and Norwood are banged up, and Atlanta was forced to use their FB as their primary RB last week. They just signed Jamel Robertson to try and sure up their depleted ranks at the posistion.
Vick will be on the run even moreso this week if Dunn and Norwood cant play, so IMO, the game plan should be simple..... stop Vick and you can stop the Falcons,,, we will see how simple that task is saturday.

well, we've only played in Atlanta once since 1995, a 2001 start by Ryan Leaf. We lead at the half on a Leaf touchdown pass to Jackie Harris, 13-7. Troy Hambrick had a great first half but did nothing in the second as Dallas fell to 2-6 with a 20-13 loss.

Of course this has little bearing tomorrow night. We win 24-10

Oh Lord. Romo has not been the problem the last few weeks.

Lemme guess, with Bledsoe it would be a surefire win, right?

I'm not sure I would go that far. Didn't we just beat the GMen in NY two weeks ago?

If we make the playoffs -- whether we beat Atlanta or not -- we belong in the playoffs more than at least 10 other NFC teams, and that's all it takes.

It's also possible that we could lose to Atlanta but win our last two games and go into the playoffs as the NFC East champions and the No. 3 seed in the NFC. And we'd deserve it, too.

Yeah. This time lets not abandon it 1/2 way thru the 1st quarter.

But if you don't win it tomorrow, you don't deserve to win it ever.
