Guys:

Only saw the last 2 minutes of the Washington debacle. I was wondering how Romo did for the other 58 minutes.

Obviously, it wasn't like the Bucs game where he was on fire, and I know he put us in a position to win at the end, but did he miss on any key plays that allowed Washington to stay in it?

How were they so close at the end and how do our Boys keep that from happening again?

Wasn't that 4 weeks ago? Let's move on to a better time let say the 3 game winning streak.

He did fine. The only mistake he made was hitting Owens in the hands perfectly in stride for a sure TD that would have won the game. /sarcasm off. Owens dropped it and took responsibility for the loss in the post game press conference.

Penalties and a perfectly thrown ball... dropped which would have been a TD.... that's what happened......

I think they can keep that from happening again by not getting flagged for over 150 yards by the way.

TO dropped a 65-70 yd TD that hit him in the palm of his hands. He catches that and we probably go on to rout the Skins by 17+ points. That changed the entire flow of the game.
Romo was on the mark the entire game. Actually one could argue that his performance vs Washington was more impressive than the game vs Tampa. The obvious difference was the # of TDs.

Hey Played well.

He was 24/36, 66.7% Comp., 2TDs, 0 INTs, 284 Yards, 7.88 YPA and a QBRT of 109.0.

The problem in that game was not Romo. Everything but you might say. Poor FG kicking, a failed 2 pt conversion, poor ST play, a safety on our very first offensive play, a very questionable flag on Kosier that puts the Skinz in FG range, 11 penalties for 153 yards all together. Take your pick. It was a cummulative thing IMO. Certainly was not Romo. We rushed for more 1st downs, passed for more 1st downs, had more total yards, won time of possesion, dominated on defense and took care of the football but the final score is really the only stat that matters.

You want to know how we avoid another loss like that one? My first recommendation would be to pull our heads out of our collective arses and play solid fundemental football. Penalties killed us in this game. Of course, that's just my opinion.
