So what is 40 worth

I want to trade back to 13 and draft SMith. Yes I think he will be there, I think the Lions like Prince and Bowers more than they like Smith. SO we get an extra 3rd from Detriot. But what is the 40th pick worth.

I looked at the trade value chart and 40th pick is worth 500 points. We can trade down from 40 to 47 with St.Louis and add a 4th round pick. St.Luois needs help on defense and a WR. If there is a guy that falls to 40 that they really want they will make that deal.

If we trade back in the 1st and 2nd this is what it will look like.
13th
47th
71st
75th
110th
112th

Now I would not trade back to 47 if Brandon Harris or Aaron Williams is still on the board, but both are gone then I would trade back in a heart beat and get a OG(Marcus Cannon), a CB(Ras-I Dowling), or a 3-4 DE

Washington has much bigger needs than to take a OT. Washington will not take a OT back to back years. Houston need defense. Minnesota needs a QB, DL, secondary help. I don't see any of those teams taking Smith.

I could see Washington, Minnesota or someone trading up to those spots taking Smith if we trade down to 13. In my opinion you don't risk loosing out on Tyron if he's that high on your draft board.
