now i simply get joy in watching the kids open their presents.....and this morning watching my 2 year old niece open her presents just made my day.

My lil girls joy and excitement to see all the gifts under the tree. She's 11yr and couldn't wait to get to those gifts. That's such a awesome feeling as a Dad to see that. I wish all kids could experience that. Xmas is GREAT!!!!

#1: My family went on a tour of Texas Stadium on Sunday...despite the dorky tour guide (nice guy though)...it was a terrific time. I absolutely loved the opportunity to toss the football around with my nephews and brother in law on the home turf. Absolutely priceless moment for me. (I nailed a 35 yard field goal too.)

#2: Knowing I have a authentic helmet autographed by Staubach on the way.

#3: I'm going to go check out the new stadium tomorrow.

#4: Knowing that all of my nephews and nieces are growing up to be Cowboys fans.

#5: Checking out JJ's and Stephen Jones' houses on some silly carriage ride through Highland Park last night (the irony of those rides is overpowering).

Overall, this has been a very "Cowboys" christmas for me...couldn't come at a better time, given their recent success and all. Going back to Virginia will be a tougher pill to swallow given how good a time I'm having this week.
