So when does the first outside FA get signed?

I would say 60-90 business days not including holiday/vacation days.......

First 3 days?

First week?

Second week?

I am a see it to believe it guy. I think they'll do the same thing they have always done which is wait out the first rush, maybe the second rush and then see what's left. Instead of targeting guys they want and try to get them (unlike a divisional rival, cough, cough) they roll the dice and hope that someone they want slips through the cracks and they can get them cheaper.

It's why they have failed in FA for a decade or more.
The first?, what, by the Cowboys?
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, such foolish optimism.

March 27th… book it!

I just want to see some creativity. Everything they do is so boring and old. I am not expecting anything they do this offseason to make them into a good team, but just seeing something different will be a breath of fresh air.

They have a new HC and DC. I am sure there are several players who do not fit these changes. I would love to see a trade for someone and getting a late pick back. Stuff like that.

It would obviously be nice to see them strike quickly and at least put bandaid on one of their several gashing holes. Even if they overpay. Just be proactive.

I say week 1 we hear about some external free agent we signed we're not expecting and Google his stats. See that he's started 20 games the last couple of seasons and think wow sounds like a solid add.
