So when does the first outside FA get signed?

Or.......they are simply insane !!!!!! ??
You know insane people can appear sane most of the time.
Their strategy would suggest they are since the definition is doing the same things over and over again and expecting a different result.

First 3 days?

First week?

Second week?

I am a see it to believe it guy. I think they'll do the same thing they have always done which is wait out the first rush, maybe the second rush and then see what's left. Instead of targeting guys they want and try to get them (unlike a divisional rival, cough, cough) they roll the dice and hope that someone they want slips through the cracks and they can get them cheaper.

It's why they have failed in FA for a decade or more.

Williams the RB Broncos is your “ outside the wire “ signing . He rushed for half the yards Dowdle did last year . 5 and change . Not exactly the start of a “ physical team “ that wants to run the ball is it .

Cowboy fans how’s does a Jeanty or Hampton first round pick sound a month from now ?

Hampton 6’0” 220 . Downhill . I would say a NC schedule would out do Boise if you’re looking at where these 2 backs had to grind it out against .

Ok you grab Hampton and Dowdle is gone . You need more then one positive yards RB to be a “ running team “ your telling me Williams the ex Bronco is that answer ?

Typically signings on first day of FA are impact players. Jethro signs someone he would normally sign on week 4 of FA on the first day, and people get excited.
Who said excited? OP asked when we'd sign an outside FA, I provided said date.

Don't add words to what was said. Accept the fact for what it is.

I am accepting that our long snapper will play more and be a bigger impact than these 2 day 1 signings in FA.
