Patrick Watkins- I predicted this would be his breakout season. He had it hard his rookie season and really got a rude awakening to the NFL when he repeatedly gave up TD's that cost us that game. He was even seen crying on the sidelines. Last year, he seemed to be turning into a special teams ace and I think he has the skills to be an asset to the pass defense this year.

Orlando Scandrick- This guy has a world of potential and I think he will turn into an Aaron Glenn type of player. He should have an immediate impact on special teams.

Courtney Brown- Brown is a player to keep your eyes on. He has the speed to keep up with any WR and definitely has the coverage and ball skills to be a great FS. The only unknown IMO is his tackling ability and run support.

Martellus Bennett- He should be an instant upgrade to run blocking, but he is learning the play book at a slow rate, which should be what to expect from a guy coming from an offense where the passing game wasn't an emphasis. I hope we can slowly work him into a few goal line plays where he should excel.

Miles Austin- He has already proven that he has the ability and speed to get open. Now the only thing he has to prove is if he can actually catch the ball. If he does, he will improve the offense as a deep ball threat that can stretch the field.

Danny Amendola- How can you not root for this kid? I hope he lives up to the hype that has been generated. He is reported as a hard worker that runs smooth routes and can catch the ball. More quick than fast, he should be an ace in the slot.

Tashard Choice- We got an excellent value with Choice in the 4th round. Although Barber and Jones are pegged as the "co-starters," Choice will get his chance on the field. Everyone will fall in love with his inside running ability. He will get the tough yards but look smooth while doing it.

Eric Walden- Had a tremendous junior season and a not-so-good senior season. He will initially be a project but could develop into a solid pass-rush specialist.

Darrell Robertson- Actually had a higher draft status and profile than Walden, the guy we actually drafted. He may not be as good a pass rusher as Walden, but I think he is a better overall player. Should be a solid backup and special teams player.

A young WR. Any of them. Including 4.56 Stanback.

No injuries. That's be weak.

Spears. A stud Defensive lineman would be awesome to have.

Nick Folk. Hope last year wasn't a fluke.

Pacman. Gobble, gobble, *****es.

Carpenter. Zach is old. Bradie is mediocre at best in coverage. We need an ILB with Burnett probably gone after this year.

Add Carpenter and one of the young offensive lineman to this list, and we've got a dream scenario. Good list, although I agree with Iceberg's list too.

I'm rooting for 15-1. A lot goes into that so I'm rooting for a lot.

Zach Thomas - I know from a talent standpoint, he's exactly what we need, the only question is health and I'm guessing he does just fine.

Spencer - He showed me some flashes last year. Some real explosiveness in the pass rush. I believe he's capable of being real special. If he and Zach reach my expectations, we go from average to top 5.

2nd WR
- Someone has to step up.

Romo - He's been so good, it doesn't seem likely or necessary for him to improve. Bit at this stage of his career, there's plenty of room for growth. I think we'll see it.

Above all this I'm rooting for Adam Pacman Jones. He is our most talented acquisition of the 2008 off-season.
His original draft selection tells us he has elite physical skills.
The second half of 2006 proved that he's capable of applying those skills to get results.
Any objective analyst would agree that a motivated Pacman is a top 10 CB. Guess what? He's motivated!

There are 64 starting CB's in the NFL.
If Jones lives/plays up to his ability, we will have 2 top 10 CB's.
I believe Spencer, Thomas and improved CB depth will improve our D to top 5 ranking.
Adam Jones could put us over the top to a #1 ranking.
