So who else is the #1 fan of whoever faces the Steelers during the playoffs?

I hope both Tomlin and Sparano go deep in the playoffs ... just to prove to Jerry Jones what a clown of an evaluator he is. Here are two coaches he could have had ... and we wound up with Wade.

Indianapolis, San Diego, Minnessota, Arizona.

Those four teams can win it, if any other team does.. its just more defeat to a horrid season.

Steelers will not and cannot win the SB with that OL. Guranteed.

I wouldn't bet against them to win it all. As a matter of fact if I had any money and was a gambling man I would bet it all on the Steelers to win the Super Bowl. The NFL loves them, Roger Goodell loves them and more importantly the refs love them. Have you seen the calls they've been getting lately? It's ridiculous. They are not even doing a very good job of hiding their intentions. The Steelers will win it all again this year book it.

Tomlin is a joker, nothing but a little cheerleader on the sideline. His *** would be toast if he didn't have Dick Lebeau.

Give me some insight as to what makes Tomlin so great. He took over a team that wasn't far removed from a SB victory, that already had a franchise QB in place, and was already set with a good D coordinator.

Sounds a lot like the team Barry Switzer took over in 1994.

I'm taking a risk here, but Arizona for SB XLIII! It's a long shot, but it could happen.

I will be beyond MAD if the Steelers, Eagles or Giants win it.

Being shallow has nothing to do with the HATRED i have for that team but i guess if you didnt happen live during the 70s,you wouldnt understand, imo:star:

I lived through those Steeler years and two SB defeats. Both of those SB loss's really coulda' went either way, they were that close.
And I lived in PA as well. I was born there in 1960 and moved out in 1979, so I actually LIVED it too.

But I don't "hate" the Steelers. I didn't like it ONE BIT back then, but as time went by, I grew to appreciate and admire that team and run they put together back then under Chuck Knoll, Bradshaw, Lambert, etc..........no hot dogs, no show offs, no "me first" guys.
You had to respect them, because they weren't "imposters". They we're the real deal.

The Niner's, now THERE'S your "imposters". They played in a division during their "run" that at the time was the Whiners, the Rams, Saints and Falcons. For over a decade, the other three teams averaged (I haven't looked it up here, just reminiscing) maybe 8 wins between them every year. So the momentum and rhythm and wins for a bye week were automatic every year.

I know the Niners aren't close now, but this is with regard to the posters who are concerned about the 5 ring thing, so the conversations revolves around Dallas, Pittsburgh and the Whiners. And the Whiners are the least worthy, by far, to be in this club.

I too could care less if the Steelers get their 6th and are now alone at the top of SB Trophy's. The Cowboy-Steeler thing is more "rivalrous" because Pittsburgh got two at the hands of our Cowboys, and the Cowboys got some revenge under Barry Switzer by beating the Steelers for our latest trophy.

The No. 1 priority in these playoffs, by a mile, is the Eagles losing again. It's written down somewhere that the Eagles MUST always lose whatever their last game of every year is!!! It is of utmost importance for the balance of the universe that the Eagles NEVER win a SB Trophy.

They've already listed what happened last weekend as one of the greatest, top 5 moments in Beagle history. And that's a good thing, because it's the best if ever gets for them. A regular season-ending defeat over Dallas. It's their greatest triumphs, and that's what you get when you'll NEVER WIN A RING!! One of the most wonderful traditions in the NFL is watching McNubb and the rest of the team walking off of a field, heads down, dejected and defeated AGAIN...................and again and again and again, year after year after year after decade after decade after decade.

I despise the Eagles more than anything or anyone in all of sports. I despise McNubb. I despise their crappy green uniforms. Their city. Their fans. All of it. There's NOTHING good, decent or redeemable about the entire ball of wax.

GO VIKINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lighting us UP????????????

When did that happen??

I had lunch with Terry Bradshaw back in 2000. He as staying at a resort hotel that we were doing some work at, and he and I just happened to meet at the bar/cafe by the beach. I showed him my Star Tattoo, told him I was from PA, and told him how much trouble he caused me back then. We sat around, ate lunch, and talked story for about an hour.

At one point, he says "WE KICKED YOUR ***!!!!" But after going back and forth for a few minutes, EVEN HE CONCEDED that those two games were two of the most hardest fought victories of his time, and that BOTH games were in the balance until the bitter end.

I'm not saying that they were "good loss's" No loss is a good loss, I don't care if it's 21-17, 35-31, or 44-0. Regular season, playoffs of SB's, they all suck. But the Steelers didn't "light us up", not even close.

Like when people say that Hagler "kicked Hearns' ***". That fight, the greatest 3 rounds in boxing history, was one punch from going either way. In fact, Hearns had Hagler bleeding and hurt so badly after round two, and that's why Hagler HAD TO END IT in round three. Otherwise, the fight would've been stopped. Same thing with those two Steeler/Cowboy SB games. Could've easily been a 2-0 record for Roger and the Boys......

Give the Steelers a little credit for squeaking by those great Cowboy teams of Landry in the 70's....................
