So, who goes when Tank is activated?

I think we offer Romo to the Vikings for their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks for the next 4 years. :)
Shoot, with Jackson as their QB, they'll probably take old man Brad Johnson for some high draft choices.:D

If we cut Jones, he will still be available if we need him later.

Hoyte.

He's been hurt and Anderson is playing well. I think the Cowboys like the idea of moving Ratliff back to DE and playing DT in obviously pass rushing situations if Tank makes the transition to this defensive scheme well. So, I think they're gonna keep Remi, Bowen, and even Nate Jones.

Haven't you been reading this forum this year?

Roy Williams is gonzo.

[/sarcasm off]

I thought we were trading him for Darren Sharper?

Yes, let's eliminate depth at yet another position. That worked out so well at CB and WR, I don't see what could possibly go wrong.

I really really love Terry Glenn, but maybe he could go get microfracture surgery now so that his long term knee problems could be cured! I think he's good enough to be good for a few more. I'd hate the thought of him sacrificing his career for a few games this year.

If we like Remi's upside, then I could easily see Ratliff moved back to DE and Bowen gone instead of him.

I've actually been wondering about this also. On one hand I can see that happening, but I think the only way it happens if coach thinks Tank can get the job done. It would be super nice to have Ratliff fresh late in the game for pass rush situations. A nickel line of Ware Ratliff Ellis Spencer could get some serious pressure on the QB. I'm looking forward to see how the Tank signing plays out for us.

The possibilty of Glenn's return for the stretch run is too attractive to IR him... even if there's only a 20% chance of his return.

If he can rehab and return, he's an impact player. Guys like Nate Jones and Remi are a dime-a-dozen and can be easily replaced.

Well Nate Jones sucks but Remi is good. Keep Remi

Im waiting for Oglesby to take over the 4th corner spot.

They have both been very good on ST. Rogers is usually one of the first down the field on ST.

Wade said today that Rogers may be gone for awhile, they could put him on IR

Probably Remi Ayodele. Bowen is a good pass rusher and situational player, I can't see them carrying 3 nose guards. Maybe try and sneak Remi onto the practice squad

This Oglesby guy cant be any worse than Jones. Most of the Ravens fans seem to think Ogelsby played reasonably well in what's primarily a man-to-man scheme. When Henry returns, I'd move Oglesby to the 4th spot behind Reeves and waive Jones.
Jones is pretty solid on special teams, that has to figure in the equation.

good point, we may have lost Justin Rogers for the season, so I doubt Wade will want to dip into the kick and punt return coverage units

If Rogers is gone for the season, then he can go on IR and that would free-up a roster spot for Tank.

Works for me.
