so who you calling the bust of the draft top 32

quinn really? what makes you say this?

I don't think he will be a bust, but the thing that bothers me is he didn't come in the best shape possible with no football he should be in the gym putting in the time and I don't think he did. So that's a red flag with me that he may not work that hard

Let me clarify, he wont be a "bust", he will be a solid pro player that never lives up the hype created by the fans.

Wisniewski. He isn't hungry enough to cut it.

Do you know anything about him because if you did you realize how silly this comment is.

He might be Kosier at best. Draftniks and faux draft experts are falling over themselves because of his name. Overrated.

You going to back any of this up or just keep throwing darts hoping to win a prize?

I'm gonna go with darts. I don't make seven figures working for an NFL team like you do, Ted Thompson. And even they miss.

He's never impressed me.

What do you have outside of things other people have digested for you that you've been told? I've seen him play, I've decided he'll bust.

I don't make 7 figures but i sure in the hell wish I did and I'm not connected enough to any team to influence a decision.

I'll address you questioning of his "hunger" and say any player that is the first on the practice field, first in the weight room and first in the meetings and the last to leave, team captain, labeled as one of the hardest working players by a long time coach like Joe Paterno who have seen many come and go do not have their "hunger" questioned. He has a passion for the game and desire to be better that will be hard to match.

As far as his play, he has everything you look for in a offensive lineman. Good feet, technically one of the most sound players in the draft, smart, finishes blocks, nasty, good bend and gets to the second level.

There is a reason he is in the mix to be the #1 overall OG in this draft. In the end I think Pouncey get's taken first but many scouts will admit the gap is not that big.

You can't watch a handful of plays from a couple games and base a decision on it. I'm sure what ever you do in life you don't have your best day every day, every moment your doing it.

You have made many good points, but I'd argue that these are the basic rudiments of achievement that any well-raised person would employ to position themselves as being more valuable than they are.

What happens when he gets hit in the mouth? Not once or ten times, but a couple or three dozen. By men who have him physically over-a-barrel the likes of which he's never seen.

When he faces the type of physicality he'll see in the NFL the center doesn't hold.

I responded before with spite, from my ego. I apologize for that. There's no place for that here among the civil. You have been a very valued source for information and opinion and my tone was inappropriate.

I'd love it if kids that did everything right were all good enough to be great, but that's not the reality. Some terrible people have been the best players of all time, and some kids that do everything right fail. I think he'll be one of the failures (relative to draft status).

Seriously, what kinda jerk writes something like this?

If you find yourselves doing this, stop. And don't hit submit.

I was completely out of line.

What happens when any player is punched in the mouth? That's a rather generic, rhetorical argument you could make against anyone. If anything, growing up in a football family will have him more prepared than most. He's seen first hand from his father and his uncle the type of work ethic and dedication that's necessary to play at a high level in the NFL, and the toll it takes on your body. Unlike a lot of kids, he's coming into this with his eyes wide open.

wth just happened?

Blaine Gabbert.

He is going to go high and I don't think he'll ever live up to it.

Cam Newton

I don't like one year wonders. Super athletic, but couldn't even complete an out route in a pass drill with no pass rushers?

To be fair, Qb's have the highest bust rate though, so it's not really fair going with 2 QB's.
