I kind of lump this and 'Flash Forward' together. I watched the first couple of episodes of both and just lost interest.

The whole "life will find a way" thing is idiotic. A mamalien and a lizard can not interbreed. Much less a Human and an alien lizard. The show has jumped the shark, or iguana as case may be.

Looks like V could get cancelled. I think the network made a mistake by airing 4 episodes and then having them go on hiatus for almost half a year. In the link below, most people are saying the show is just too boring and it needs to make up its mind on what type of show it is going to be. Right now, the only plot i'm interested in is Ryan's baby and how his fiance will respond. Besides that, there is nothing compelling me to continue to watch.

I don't think the hiatus has much to do with it, sci-fi shows rarely take off, especially on network TV. Fringe never would have made it without JJ Abhrams on board, and there aren't even any aliens in it and they sure are hell avoid advertising that whole "multi dimension" aspect of the show.

I watched all the episodes of V on Hulu over the last few days, and the show is pretty mediocre in my opinion, despite a pretty high production value. I don't care about any of the characters. In fact, I hope Anna succeeds and wipes them out. :laugh2:

I thought it was pretty good, but I think they are going to have to introduce more interesting characters to get people watch.

They've got the "bad boy" character now, but they needed to introduce more interesting characters if it is going to last.

I think Annas daughter may be able to reproduce with certain humans or something and that he is the one they choose.

I don't know why on earth the mom just doesn't tell the kid everything she knows. The V's can't spy on them 24/7.

But instead she is going to tell the kid some dark secret about him that he doesn't know and im sure he will go crying his way back onto the ship.

Im ready to see them in full reptile form. Its time.

If Anna's daughter is able to produce with a human, then you have a plot hole. When Ryan visited the doctor that knows about Vs to obtain information about the his fiance's baby, she told him that if Anna found out about it, she would come after the baby. To me, that suggest that the Vs are not aware that Vs and Humans can procreate.

I agree with you on your thoughts that it is time to reveal their true form. The least they could have done is shown the real pictures of Ryan's baby that the V doctor showed him.

I think the dark secret is that that Tyler's mother had an affair while married and Tyler doesn't know who his real father is. And as you said, this will force him to live on the spaceship.

I'm hoping the 5th Column has some alien weapons and their will be a minor skirmish soon.

I think the reason Anna would come after the baby is that it would be a hybrid and out them as not being human looking at all. Which reveals they are basically wolves in sheeps clothing, that blows everything out of the water as far as their plans to keep the humans docile while they do whatever they are plotting.

Why wouldn't Anna's daughter be able to reproduce when the other guy obviously can? I don't see how they wouldn't already be aware they can reproduce with each other.

The Doctor Ryan went too was obviously disturbed and clearly didn't know that it was possible for Humans and Vs to procreate.

I have no idea why Tyler is being pursued by the Vs. It may have something to do with this "secret" that has been kept from him. Heck, maybe the guy Tyler's mother had an affair with was a V (maybe her ex-partner who we know was a V is the father) and he is some type of special case.

Also, why would Anna need her daughter to create a mass species of hybrids when Anna is clearly capable of reproducing an entire "army" of Vs on her own?

I'm starting to think the Vs are interested in Tyler because they may want him to produce "a child" with Anna's daughter as part of a wider manipulation scheme to show humans just how close a V and a human can become.

That could be why they produce "phosphorus" to serve as a treatment for human mothers once this occurs on a wider scale.
