why do we tend to fold when we get "kicked in the mouth"?

It's not just the Pittsburgh loss today. It's been going on for several seasons.

IMO, I think one of the things that REALLY hurts us (and has hurt us for several seasons) is that we play sloppy, undisciplined football - on both offense and defense. And that our Special Teams is below par and has been for a couple seasons now.

Until we can take care of the football better (not turn it over), not miss as many assignments, including STs, and cut down on stupid penalties, it's going to be tough to close out meaningful games.

I really think we need a change in our coaching staff. I've been saying this for weeks now. I don't think we're going to win meaningful games with Wade and Bruce Reid, etc.

Just my opinion.

Uhm, we got kicked in the mouth in the first half when we turned the ball over 4 times and couldn't get out of our own way... Did we fold then?

I'm talking generally over the past few Decembers.

Look, we hung in there, and this is a game we should have won. Good teams find ways to win these tough games.

We don't win these tough types of games, and we haven't for many years.
