I absolutely cannot stand ESPN anymore. Every week where TO wasn 't a factor, they would lead with the Cowboys and TO. Now this week, TO goes off for 3 TDs, and barely a word about it. Does everyone else see all this bias that is ESPN. They are so worried about making a story, that they will ignore a good game to help start up a BS story to create interest.

A few things:

  1. it was only the texans
  2. TO should be doing this all the time anyways
  3. its a good thing for Cowboys so ESPN wont run it
you just solved one thing though... all TO has to do is catch 3 TD's every week and he will spend less time in the "breaking news" segment of BSPN
:lmao2:

its not big news cause he didn't do anything wrong.

Exactly, when he does something wrong he's "T.O." When he has a 3 TD performance he's just "Terrell Owens".

i posted a thread about the same thing espn is rediculous they highlight deion branch who caught 2 touchdown passes but cant say anything about T.O what idiots

LaDanian Tomlinson scored 4 TDs yesterday. Are they raving about it?

Roy Williams of Detroit had a huge day and the Lions got off the donut. Are they raving about it?

Tampa Bay beat a playoff contender for their first win. Are they raving about it?

Looking back on 2 stories they pounded to death...

The TO suicide saga.

Ben Roethelsberger's motorcylce crash.

See any similarities other than both are offensive players?

Fog clearing a little bit why they aren't raving about TO's 3 TDs? Drama sells.

There are four articles in the FWST, the Chronicle, and the SA paper about TO and his three TDs and I haven't even looked at DMN nor have I done my normal morning google search.

TO did what he was supposed to do. Catch balls and score TDs. Who cares if it's not the lead story on the national news.

From what I have seen on ESPN Blitz and SportsCenter Owens is the only Cowboy player they mentioned or showed on replays.

Plus he was the only player interviewed.

And THAT made me sick !

Our defense had a good game, keeping them out of the EZ, .. - Ellis had a great INT, .. - J. Jones had his 3rd 100 yd game in a row, .. - Bledsoe had a good game, .. - we had balance at the WR position with 3 having 5 catches, .. - Romo had his first NFL completion and his first NFL TD pass.

All good stories in themselves, but did they mention any of that, No !, only Owens.

Don't get me wrong, I am glad Owens had his good game and I am glad they mentioned him, .. they should have.

But to NOT mention any other Cowboy players' performance is ridiculous and agenda driven if you ask me.

Once again it is official, ESPN is pathetic !!

TO had 45 yards receiving. Not all that impressive. The 3 TD came against the Texans. Not all that impressive. Did you see Torry Holt's performance? 8 catches, 154 yards, 3 TDs, and one of them being a 67 yard circus TD reception! SWEET!

Steve Smith's day was pretty sweet too with 8 catches for 189 yards one of them being a 72 yarder for a TD.

Plus TO scoring TDs is what everyone expects. What do don't expect is him to not dominate every game he plays.

What are you talking about. It's been all over The Blitz, both on ESPN News and Tom Jackson and Chris Berman's show.

Not to mention TJ Whosyourmammas 10 catches 102 and 1 TD or Roy "I can count to 40" William's 10 catches 162 and 1 TD.

Or Mark Clayton's 8 catches 100 plus yards, 2 TDs.

A lot of receivers had big games Sunday.

Maybe becuase it wasnt even close to being the top performance on Sunday.

Once again, what is ESPN's angle on showing Owens, Owens, and only Owens, and never ever mentioning any other Cowboy ?

Trash journalism.
