When Will Overshown and Diggs Be Ready?

No he's not they don't even play the same position this would be Bland versus Diggs or more like Diggs vs himself,

most likely diggs will be playing for his roster spot in 26, to keep his job, if he plays really well he'll stay here ,but Doron Bland is the one up for a contract. It will be a big decision do they keep both etc etera but this has nothing to do with George Pickens he may price himself off this team but it won't be because of Diggs contract...

You do realize right now they have $30 million under the cap and the cap will only go up and even more once Parsons signs, they are not hurting for money, they're not going to have to choose between a wide receiver and a corner who's already under contract...

So I don't know where you're getting that information you'd be way wrong the only thing that you will be right about is digs better play really well because the Cowboys will definitely think about getting rid of him If he doesn't look like his old self if he gets injured again if he doesn't play well yes he could play his way off this roster...

Not fully accurate. Parsons cap hit will go down for 2025, but he is currently listed at $0 for 2026. As soon as he signs an extension he should have a 2026 cap hit that is somewhere in the 8 digit range.

Diggs vs Pickens vs Bland is very likely to be a real discussion as the season goes on. I imagine that will work itself out with someone of the 3 being a must keep, and one probably being an obvious candidate to let walk, but you can only have so many major contract on the books at one time, thats just the reality of it.....Especially for a team that doesn't like to do it like Philly or LA has done in the past in loading up for a short mega spending window.

Overshown won't be back this year, imo.
 
it's best to prepare a Plan B and be ready for " next man up " , in the event non of the mending players, Diggs, Revel or Overshown ..

Honestly this is how the Cowboys should be operating. Assuming that Overshown wont be back, and if he does come back its in an extremely limited role. Even if he is back its unlikely he is truly 100%. Anything you get from Overshown this year should be viewed as a bonus.
 
I don't think they should play Overshown this season regardless. These types of injuries typically take longer than a year to heal to the point that the player is confident enough in his body to commit 100% in plays.

I think both Diggs and Steele returned too early and it affected their productivity.

They might not step on the field. Probably won't really be normal until the 2026 season and that's if they can even return to their normal level of play which I kinda doubt that for Overshown.

Diggs would of been ready to go if he didn't need an extra surgery he got in January. I read that prosecute can be 18 months recovery. We shall see.
