Does anyone know of any software, free or otherwise, that will allow me to transfer pictures from the phone to my computer?

I've looked around and found one that costs money, but it was terrible so I deleted the free trial version.

You need software for that?? Are iphones that pathetic?

I don't know if you need software, but I don't know how to transfer pic from the phone to the computer. I just got an iPhone so I don't know how to use it.

Maybe someone can teach me.

I would think iTunes could sync that to your computer.

That's what my boy tells me, but I do not see anywhere on iTunes how to do that. I can do music, but not pics.

I've used the picasa app from google for importing my pictures from a number of sources including my phone. Works on PC and Mac.

What would you recommend if not software? Telepathy?

You need to put the cable in the computer with the iPhone and when you go to My Computer the iPhone should come up. From then I don't remember the exact steps but it is really easy to do it.

In Android you can mount the phone as a drive (like a USB thumb drive) and just copy it off.

Are you on a mac? I either email myself the photo if its one or two......or use Image Capture app that comes with mac to drag/drop from the phone to a folder.

Mac or PC?

On a Mac: iPhoto
On a PC: Scanner and Camera Wizard

Both are native. Basically, whatever you use to organize photos will recognize the iPhone as a digital camera and you can proceed the way you normally do after you connect a camera.

Let me know of you have any more questions, might be a little trickier on PC. Especially if the wizard doesn't auto-launch.

Also, if you have a password on your iPhone, make sure you unlock it before you connect it via USB.

Download iCloud manager and make sure photosteam is turned on. Every photo will sync to your computer when taken. You can also simply access them through windows explorer when your phone is hooked up to our computer.

Attach it to an email on your iPhone and mail it to yourself on your pc...

I have iCloud and it backs up my contacts and some other random stuff, but not my pics. I think I have everything turned on in my phone, but I still cannot back up the pics!!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I finally got it to work!
