I saw this at drufantasyfootball.com and think it is solid draft for the cowboys. I think that if it turn out this way, I would be pleased and there were no reaches. I was wondering what the rest of you guys think. Here are the picks:

1st Dwayne Bowe WR
2nd Josh Wilson CB
3rd Doug Free OT
4th Dan Bazuin DE
5th John Beck QB
6th Le Ron McClain FB
6th Kyle Young C
7th Corey Graham New Hampshire CB
7th Keith Jackson DT
7th Alonzo Coleman, Hampton RB

OMG...Bowe, and my Murland jones in Wilson! It's the greatest freaking draft ever.

Seriously, I would pass out.

Michigan sucks.

Wilson is a bit of a reach at #53. He is a good little corner who has return skills, but his size limitation say he's a 3rd rounder. I might take the kid fron UNLV instead.

Free is a decent 3rd round pick.

I Like Bazuin and Beck. They both may end up being lifelong backups, but that's OK where they are picked.

If we get Bowe in the first, i'll be pretty happy and it would make this draft fine ith me.

Being a diehard LSU, I find your comments very offensive!

But I don't have any ammunition to fight back with. :(

The only Negative about Wilson is his size.

I Wade's scheme, he may have to play a lot of man to man, which they say isn't his strong suit. He may be more of a over 2 guy on the next level.

WR is our strongest pos atm, yet we spend a 1st on a WR?

I would. In a heartbeat. Our 2 starters are both in thier mid 30's.

The only problem I see with that strategy...

Our Pass Defense was terrible last season [#24 in the NFL]

Our Pass offense rocked [#5?]

Why not spend that valuable pick on a solid starting CB?

Henry is 31. A Glenn is 100.

Enter Wade Phillips and his attacking version of the 3-4.

Have you paid attention this off season?

TO is coming off 2 surgeries on his hand, and Terry Glenn has lost games to injuries on more than one occasion. If either had gone down last year are you going to tell me #5 still happens? Do you think I'm naive? Don't forget also that TO is perhaps the most volatile player in the game. I'm not saying he will blow up, but it pays to be prepared. The Boy Scouts are right about that.

WR needs to be addressed, and this is a WR deep draft. By selecting one now instead of when the pickings are slim it accomplishes 2 things.

1. We actually acquire talent and promise.

2. There will be no pressure on the rookie to start and contribute right away given we have veteran starters.

If that is the best value on the board I am fine with it. I think WR is a much bigger need and this draft is deep.

Younger than both WRs, so we have more time before we need to address RCB.

He doesn't start.
