Was just watching NFL Network and they asked who the best back up QB in the NFL is now that Cassell is gone. His reply..........

Based on what? Did Brunell even play last season? The answer is - NO. He hasn't taken a single snap in the last 2 seasons! so who knows what kind of backup he is at this point?

Cassell was easily the best backup last year because he played a significant number of games and played very well in them.

Leftwich played well in relief of Roethlisberger so he could be considered.
