I take back everything I said about you.

I think your natural position is LDE in a 4-3. We need one of those like we need a hole in the head with Lawrence, Tyrone Contract and Irving, but I'd take you at 32 in a heartbeat.

I never heard of him. Saw him play in the bowl game today for the first time. He is only a junior. But, I would like to see him in a Cowboy uniform.

I bet he doesn't get past the Eagles...He's Aaron Donald 2.0...He and Cox together are gonna be a headache.

What happened to his being slow? I know it is hard to keep up with all these guys especially in December. I liked him as soon as he got noted by some guys here in the zone(along with T McKinley UCLA), I am thinking he might not be available with our pick because of the media hype surrounding him in late Dec.

He still looked slow to me from tape. I haven't seen the film of his bowl game that everybody is hyping it I'll check it out.

He is slow. Fast is a Demarcus Ware 4.56 forty. Thomas is quick not fast. I'd be shocked if he runs 4.76.

I was just poking you, wish the draft was a little more science, the more we quantify the talent the more we realize it has to go with the right kind of attitude. I think he was only in our sights in December, this last game put him securely in the first not the fringe. Love reading your opinions keep it up.

What is the infatuation with having "fast" defensive linemen? Give me a quick lineman over a fast one anyway; short area quickness/burst is what's paramount. I look at 10-yard splits as a primary indicator.

Terrelle Suggs ran like a 5.06 forty IIRC.

After thinking about it a little more, I think he compares favorably to Brandon Graham (former Wolverine and now Eagle).

We need a guy that can capture the edge consistently. Just facts

That'd be quickness.

40 yard dash doesn't come in to play.

Jadeveon Clowney ran a 4.53 forty and has as many sacks as Ben Mayowa.

Suggs ran a 4.84. Elvis Dumervill ran a 4.78.

Clowned had the worst surgery any football could have and isn't the same athlete that he was.

Bend matters. I don't think Thomas has much of that. Speed matters because it is sustained explosiveness. There's a reason the Wares and Von Millers go ahead of athletes like Thomas.

On a list of attributes required to be a great pass rusher, sustained speed isn't high on the chart.

I'm not an advocate for Soloman, but if I'm going to dismiss him (or anyone) as a potential pass rushing prospect it's not going to be off his 40 time.

I agree with @Floaty and think he'd be scouted as an under tackle in our D. Didn't watch the game but that's what I saw in prior games of his. Felt he rushed the passer from DE like a DT.

Also, he's from Coppell, TX. Could be a Dallas Day invite if he declares.

just my guess, but the Eagles are going to go offense. Interior o-line, WR, maybe even RB, I'm not sure, but I'd be surprised to see them go defense.
