Target the 2nd or 3rd best rated TE for with 2nd-day pick AND FORCE Witten to 50% fewer snaps. I guessing a young faster TE can impact the offense just as effective as adding another quality WRs.

Since when do we use TE in the passing game? Our TE are told to block on the line not run routes. Swaim and Hannah are faster but speed isn't everything. Most of the time Wit is just blocking, and occasionally they tell him to block then go out for a 10 yard pass.

You must have forgotten about the second day TEs we’ve taken the past decade. I seriously doubt targeting the second or third best TE is going to help our offense. We need some speed at WR.

TE is a priority and I think JJ and Will MCclay are well aware. Question will be,when do we pick one...not IF.

Is this a joke? Witten has been either our #1 or #2 leading receiver just about every year.

I’m hoping Rico can do that
Without be big players in FA
We need jaylon and Rico to come on. And we need to hit on a min 4 picks in this draft

They have grater needs along both lines. If they must draft a TE, then take one in the 4th or later. Use the first 3 rounds to fix the problems on the offensive and defense fronts.

Or, we can just play Rico Gathers who is on a cheap, cheap contract.

If the available TE is much better than the available WR then that's a possibility but that's probably a low probability of being the case during the draft.

They should look at the contracts given out in free agency the past couple of years and lean towards positions that cost the most.

WR appears to be very expensive this year considering many of them are just average.

Think a TE might be picked up in the draft if the team doesnt have that feeling for Gathers anymore. With what the Jones' have been saying about the team moving to open up the offense and impliment the college style to go along with their pro set. I think offense is going to the focal point in this draft.

Starting lineup, 2018:

Dez Bryant WR
Terence Williams WR
Cole Beasely WR
Jason Witten TE

Sorry.
Great! Our #1 WR can't run routes and drops the ball. Our #2 WR is a body catcher. Our #3 WR doesn't get thrown to anymore because our #1 WR cries. And our TE is slowing down and getting called for holding to often.

That just so sad, a team that was crap in 17 to retake the field in 18 pretty much the same. Zeke will be wasted guaranteed. No dynamic players on offense at all, pretty depressing.

The whole starting lineup is already on the roster. Most likely. Unless they go online or safety early
