Do you think I will be able to get any snaps in after we get the ball back?

No? DANG!

i do not really remember johnson talking to romo like kitna does after every time the offense has the ball. it seems like kitna tells romo what he sees on the field and explains what he thinks tony needs to do better more then johnson did. it looks like tony was really listening to what kitna has to say.

"I don't really even need a helmet!"

Thank you.

The Eagle logo is a perfect reference point. In the first pic, you can clearly see that the line of gain (for first down) is beyond the feather point (or beak, whatever).

2nd pic, Collinsworth and Michaels INSISTED that the ball should have been spotted where you see it here, because McNabb fell down onto the back of another player.

Point is, so what? No first down.

When was the last time a coach used two of his challenges on where the ball should be spotted? Pretty rare I reckon.

"If you need a deep threat, I'm your guy."

For a split second I misread one of the words here and almost threw up inside my mouth.

"You're one interception from me putting myself in there at quarterback."

Beuler was threatening Romo with fate worse than death if he failed to secure the first down.

Kitna, actually.

I thought it was Beuhler too.

Then I realized Beuhler has no reason to talk to Romo during the game.

He's telepathic too? I should have known.

Oh, The David Buehler might give you leniency for that, but don't be surprised when he pops out from behind your noon day shadow to confront you on the issue.

The way I understand the rule is that there has to be clear evidence that there is a difference in the spot of the ball.
Hmmmmn.
I seem to remember our playoff game against the Seahawks and how the spot of the ball was changed from a first down to marking the ball back after a challege that caused us to be at 4th down....And then we set up to kick a field goal...
There wasn't clear evidence to change Witten's play in that playoff game but they changed it anyway.
My point is that the refs are not consistent in the replay and how they percieve clear evidence.

I was listening to the andy reid show monday afternoon on wip with howard eskin and merrill reece. I was curious what they were saying about the game.

Reece asked reid about ware, and reid didnt say much and reece made the comment that he didnt do anything.

How can the guy who is calling the game in philly not realize, the play that ware hit mcnabbs arm was a sure td. That is the play that tony dungy broke down at the half and showed desean jackson wide open for a td.

Then reece made comments that witten is good but celek is just as good and that gates this week is the better player.

Those guys up there can not give credit to the cowboys when they win. Its one of the many reasons why I hate all of them.

The funny thing about witten is, the play that we ran to get the game clinching first down is a play we have run with witten against them at least 10 times. They can never cover it. Last year at home we converted a huge third down with it and in 07 at home we used it to convert a 4th down.

Eskin's only redeeming quality is that he was a big "Bob Hayes to the HOF" proponent.
